What Trump is saying is right. It’s great Ted stood up to the establishment but he can’t get anything done, not really. If your entire legislative agenda is protest, you’re paralyzed as far as any accomplishments.
Cruz says he’s like Reagan but Reagan brought the opposition along, didn’t shut them out.

See, here’s another example of Trump thinking way above most people. They can’t follow the logic enough to even acknowledge he has a point. They simply default into scorched earth mode.

If your entire legislative agenda is protest, youâre paralyzed as far as any accomplishments. What if you are the only one who is speaking the truth and everyone else prefer the lies?

Reagan did bring the opposition along but the key phrase is that he "brought THEM along." They did not "bring him along" as is the case with our RINOs today.
I think Trump will be the same way. He will deal with the opposition and make deals with them but it will be on his terms.

“Cruz says heâs like Reagan but Reagan brought the opposition along, didnât shut them out.”
Sort of like how Obama got everything he wanted though Republicans hated him. So he worked together witth his opponents and brought them together.
Oh wait, no he didn’t, he did just the opposite.

Obstructionism when serving to stop bad legislation is a good thing.
Compromise when serving to advance bad legislation is a bad thing.

ONE man in Congress can’t get anything done by himself, but Cruz certainly made a statement regarding the Liar McConnell........and Cruz absolutely began the era of BOLDNESS to speak out, that has been adopted by others.... did anyone see Trump in the gallery?
To: Kenny
Cruz was referring to similar conservatism as Reagan.
Come November, no matter who are the nominees, the dems will be wiped out by 8 years of US history’s worst Constitutional and citizen abuse by nobama peeing in America’s well for the sake of allah and soros.

Cruz is operating in a different era. When Reagan was president, pork barrel politics meant Sam Nunn added a couple Gulfstreams a year that the Air Force never asked for. Now we have entire programs with billions and billions of dollars being added as political payoffs for thousands of dollars in campaign contributions. We also have a president, running unchecked, over the laws enacted by Congress and the Constitution. If Cruz doesn't speak up, nobody will.
The sad part is that Cruz is painted as some kind of back bencher, far right, wacko, but none of his ideas are very radical at all. Uphold the Constitution, protect the country, keep Americans working instead of importing foreigners, get the budget under control. Whoa, what a bunch of scary ideas.
The same people complained about Newt Gingrich, and we ended up with a balanced budget and welfare reform.

Reagan got played by Tip when they negotiated legislation. Tip had no problem allowing the government to shut down in order to get what he wanted/prevented Reagan from getting what he wanted. Compromised over tax increases early and tax cuts later, yet spending programs/huge future liabilities were still in place. Reagan's only upper hand was dealing with regulations/tailoring Administrative law using his Executive power over agencies where he won in court (Especially several EPA regs), NOT in Congress.
To expect bad laws and ideas to magically turn into a benefit because of the "beans" called compromise is idiotic. Also to water-down good ideas to the point of impotency is also foolish. In short, we are/future generations are screwed because drastic measures that can correct our course will never occur because of the plurality and worship of "compromise".

At this point, I’d take NO legislation and laissez faire executive branch over over current process.
