I'll have to watch the video and see the context before making a conclusion.
stick with your initial gut reaction......
Some allege Churchill may have even been rather marginally religious, if not outright atheist, but he knew he was protecting Judeo-Christian society.
We’re not electing a Pope here.
The Faux-christian and faux-conservative! The wolf is wearing his sheep’s clothing.
Personally, I don’t much care if he’s a studied up, true believer or not.
He’s willing to stand up and shove it in the face of the militant atheists. Saint or sinner, he’s jamming his thumb in the eye of the domestic enemy re: their constant attack on Christianity in this country.
Trump is never going to out-religion Teddy and his nutty Dominionist dad. Don’t even try.
When Donald Trump pretends to be a devout Christian, he is insulting our intelligence.
I had to check twice to make sure this story wasn’t satire.
2 Corinthians 3:17 -
“Now the Lord is the Spirit; where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”
Yes, he said two instead of second. If that is the best they have got, Trump is in good shape.
“2 Corinthians 3:17 King James Version (KJV)
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”
Imagine had Jokebama had referred to any 1st or 2nd books of the bible in this manner. Ugh.
Is that all you got?
straining at gnats a bit here?
Just exactly what is the “proper” way to say it?
The gullible will believe both.
If DONALD TRUMP (BLESSED BE HIS NAME) said some at variance with what is in the Bible, the Bible must be wrong or wrongly translated. /sarc
2 Cor 3:17 is an odd reference to make in this context.
I seriously can’t believe I wasted my time opening this bullshit.
People really have that much time on their hands debating the semantics of 2 vs 2nd???
Get a life people!!!
Well, my Bible does show it as 2 (Two) Corinthians and not Second Corinthians. But I guess my body isn't completely riddled with Trump hatred that makes me twitch and spasm when he doesn't exude the qualities of perfection you demand.
This is pretty much the Trump version of “corpse-man”. Reading copy written by somebody else on a subject you know nothing about. But, as someone above noted, he’s not running for Pastor in chief.
You guys are pathetic. This is what you are reduced to? Critiquing whether Trump says 2 or 2nd? Go to a Catholic Church, you’ll here it either way depending on who does the reading. It’s not a big deal.
Trump seems to think that Cruz has the edge with religious people. He’s probably right.
But Two Corinthians sounds weird ... it’s never called that. I’ve been to Bible studies all my life and never heard it. But I guess we shouldn’t judge.
