Hell, Rush could have squashed the Trump momentum when it started. He gave the Trump movement wind at it’s back. He has been highly supportive in many aspects. The one thing he’s taken exception to is using leftist BS talking points to attack. Same here as earlier.

It is dismaying to see people who have fought for conservative principles for years turning against one conservative icon after another (Ted Cruz, Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin) because they might possibly stand in the way of life long New York liberal, Donald Trump, from securing the Republican presidential nomination.
Think about it - this comes on the same day the video is being circulated showing Trump praising Hillary Clinton as the best Secretary of State America has ever had... and he says this AFTER the Benghazi fiasco (and all the other messes created by Hillary that preceded that).
I saw on Facebook some Trump supporters were insisting the video was bogus, that Trump never made those comments, that the video has been edited, etc...
Agreed, he needs to come out and endorse Cruz. It would be far more honest than this playing coy. It is obvious to everyone who he is for.
I heard that Cruz once attended a church where the son of the assistant Pastor supported gay marriage.

And by the way, don’t stop with the remarks, actually the other candidates love it when you guys do that, it sends more supporters to them and takes them away from Cruz...so keep up the good work, we all need the supporters and we treat them nice!!!

Rush wants to maintain his audience. If Rush endorses anyone during the primaries, he knows how much of his audience he’d lose.

Yes, I think you are right.
Levin has spent much of this election cycle being careful not to get too involved in anyone's camp, but recently as Trump responded to Cruz's poll rises with the same type of attacks that Trump has smeared other opponents with, I think Levin decided it was time to speak up and not just to his listeners, but to his colleagues who he thinks should be telling Trump that using liberal attacks against conservative candidates isn't going to be tolerated by conservatives. Go join the Democrat Party if you're going to pull that kind of nonsense.

I have been wanting to post something for awhile about Trump vs Cruz. I do not claim to be an expert or know better than anyone else. I have had some experience in elections (I am 61 years old) and have worked in several. Seeing some great men and some no so great has caused me to have concerns about Trump.
I guess the real concern I have about Trump is that it just hasn’t been many years ago that he was expressing completely opposite views on issues that are important to many of us. It is entirely possible that he has had a change of views over the years. I know Ronald Reagan changed from a New Deal Democrat to a strong conservative. But here is the question that many of us who are conservatives are struggling with. How do we know that his “conversion” is genuine, or that he is pulling a “bait and switch” game just to get elected.
Before anyone tells me that Cruz is not perfect I will acknowledge it! No one, aside from the man who walked the roads of Galilee, has been perfect. But Cruz seems to be closer to the real deal than anyone else running.
If Trump wins the nomination I will vote for him. But how do we know for sure that he is closer to another Churchill rather than a wolf in sheep’s clothing? For those of you who are completely in for Trump and think that he is great, please help me! Are you sure that Trump is a conservative and will be great for the country? It seems like we are facing too many dangers to be turning the roulette wheel for our leaders.
