The Alienork Way
My name is Naku. This is the story of my people, who live on the great Island of Plenty. Our island is so vast, and the need for travel so small, and it being very difficult to cross the high mountain ridges, people most often live near where they are born. Food is easy to grow or to pick everywhere and at all times of the year, and there are plenty of fish to catch as well. But from time to time a traveler might visit, sometimes by boat, and sometimes by climbing over the sharp-topped mountains between the numberless valleys. As you may suppose, because of the difficulty of distant traveling, news from afar does not travel quickly on the Island of Plenty.

... And the life of man, solitary, poore, nasty, brutish, and short.”
But it is really quite unbelievable. There is nothing similar in the real world like that to worry about. But Matt has a great imagination and is to be congratulated for conjuring this story all up out of whole cloth.
In real life in the real world - fortunately - people in Europe and America are much smarter and wiser than the fairy tale idiots on the fictitious Island of Plenty. Nobody could be that stupid. Nor could anybody be as evil as those imaginary Alienorks!
Ha Ha!
Travis, your graphic is icing on the cake. You have true talent and are bold enough to use it. I have passed on two of your short stories to my 20 something sons, who have pushed it on further to a younger audience. You are inspiring me to break out of my fears and delve into the world of writing.
Thanx for efforts!
I can only wonder whether or not Europe will do as it has in the past, and that is to explode in a paroxysm of savagery and slaughter as they cleanse the continent of the scourge and abomination that is Islam. Or just roll over, submit and die.
One guess as to my preference.
Do you want freepers to spread it around to young readers?
One other guess which is more likely.
The name Alienork seems to be a stumbling block for some readers. Why that name? I also want to introduce it as a synonym for Muslim invaders. But I’m going to add a bit to this paragraph. What do you think? This is par. 8.
A few years after Napok joined us, another stranger, alone, climbed down the cliffs into the middle valley of Near Plenty. He was an old man with white hair and a white beard, but he was very fit and full of vigor for his age. His name was Amok, and he was the first person that I ever met of the Alanok people, as I called them then. He said he was of the Alienork people, pronouncing it just as Napok had pronounced their name. Alienork was a very strange word to our ears, and not easy for us to speak. It had no meaning in our tongue. Alienork only meant Alienork. The elder corrected me until I spoke it to his satisfaction: ah-lee-en-ork, but said quickly. Amok didnât seem to look so different from my people on the Island of Plenty, and he was rather pleasant and seemed as intelligent as any. He had certainly learned the tongue of the Island of Plenty very well. He told me that The Alienork Way was the way of peace, and that we would surely live together in harmony on the Island of Plenty.
Thanks. I’m trying to pass this one to a younger more PC demographic, where they would avert their eyes from any “right wing islamophobic rants.”
my kids are grown but am sending it to friends that have youngens
They are yet another invading force that learned to invade by sheer migration. It was probably an old trick when the Scythians were bad-asses.
People on Happy Island just don’t ever want to face hard truths, and usually ignore them until they are loaded onto boxcars.
I like it pronounced alien-ork. It’s creative. They are aliens to the land and ork has an otherworldly feeling to it. Keep it simple for the audience you are trying to reach - young people. I liked the first draft a lot.
Thankfully, I AM alive! :-) No goats... sold em all. Turned the main pasture into a shooting range though. :-) Kids are all out of the house...either married off, or in school, or in the military. None of them are very far though... a few hour’s drive at the most. Good to hear from you buddy. :-)
Damn... that’s creepy as hell, but DOES actually match the imagery my mind conjured up while reading the story!
I’ve got a neighbor who’s essentially building a petting-zoo for his grandkids ... got about 50 chickens, a couple of goats and a half-dozen ducks.
Plus a few deer that come wandering through occasionally ... for which my grandson and I periodically lie in wait ... thus far unsuccessfully.
This is what I’m putting on Facebook with my Alienork links.
“Please forward these “Alienork Way” links around, with the suggestion that parents recommend it to their kids. I’ve made it a bit more kid-friendly/less graphically bloody in the decapitated Napok scene. It’s good to go for middle school and up. My goal is to use social media to reach parents who will distribute it to the younger generation. My mid-term goal is to have as many people as possible send the link with a recommendation to Dennis Prager. “The Alienork Way” hits all the points that Prager hammers every day.”

THIS IS A MUST READ PEOPLE!!
I’m going to find his contact info and post it around with suggestions.
I think he just left off the /Sarcasm tags
We need to identify who are the ‘Amok’s in our country
