At least this will prevent a lot of Democrats from voting for Trump

Palin brings her own constituency, and I don’t think female Democrats care about that one way or the other. They certainly won’t care in 2 weeks.

Too early to select a running mate, but just right to draw more support.

You really don’t think that Cruz would have wanted a Palin endorsement right now?

My sister - a die hard liberal / socialist said she was going to cross over and vote for McCain until he announced Palin as his running mate.
It’s tough to discuss my true political feelings with her because we really are on opposite ends of the political spectrum.

Is Palin coming to assure the Ethanol state that Alaska Petroleum won't put their corn farming out of business?

I can just imagine both Sarah and Trump talking to America at the same time, and they start doing this at all future rallies.
To: Helicondelta
Sorry, folks, all too many se her as some stupid hick with a thoroughly redneck family. Her voice is a real turnoff. Being governor of a state is a plus. Except for Alaska. It just says backwoods hick. I am quite fond of her. But she will not work. May have sunk McCain.
People around here think that because we like her she is the key to victory. Wrong. We are not an accurate barometer. That should be obvious.

It does not mean VP, it means Trump is a SHOWMAN. THis is part of the show in the last two weeks before Iowa.
I think Trump wants to “run the table” to demonstrate a mandate rather then play nice with Cruz and lose Iowa to him. This will cement the support of the GOPe’s who are trying desperately to knock out Trump. If he can say I won them all, and they defect, they will look like deserters/liars after they made him pledge to support the nominee (their assumption was that it wouldn’t be him)
I think it’s smart politicking. And what Trump does well is retail politics. Look at the crowds who attend his rallies, pretty much everywhere.
Trump/Cruz 2016 would be fun.

Better to have Palin with you than against you. Lots of people voted for her not McAmnesty in 08 and that would include Iowans.

May have sunk McCain.
What are you smokin' pal?
If it were not for Sarah Palin on the ticket in 2008, McCain would have been buried by MORE than a 370 to 164 electoral vote total. At least Sarah Palin carried her home state, McCain lost his state to Barky.
