Dear Christians, If You Vote For A Godless Man, You Are Asking For Tyranny
The Blaze ^ | 1/19/2016 | Matt Walsh

It’s very simple. If a man has no moral center, if he has ambition but no faith, if he does not demonstrate humility or integrity, I will never vote for him for president. I don’t care who he is, what he’s done, what he says, or what positions he holds. None of that will matter when we are living under his tyranny, and tyranny is sure to follow when you give unspeakable power to a man who believes he is God.

I’ll put this another way: if you vote for a man who worships himself over God, you deserve the tyranny that happens next.

You deserve it because you chose it, just as the souls in Hell deserve Hell because they chose it. If you go to the ballot box and say, “I am going to do my part to put this self-absorbed pagan in charge of my nation” you are directly consenting to the inevitable result. You are embracing it. You are literally asking for it.

I know this will not resonate with atheists, but for us God-fearing folk it is extraordinarily obvious and irrefutable that we ought to only vote for other God-fearing folk. John Adams said, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” I think it goes without saying that if the governed ought to be moral and religious, certainly the governors ought to be the same, and arguably more so.

Trump said he takes communion which he said is a form of asking for forgiveness.

"Godless" applies to Obozo.

I do NOT see any of the Republican candidates as "Godless."

The writer of this article has an AGENDA. To DIVIDE!

Are you saying that you would not vote for Ronald Reagan? A registered Democrat AND also signed the abortion act while governor of California?

People change. Let’s pray that IF Trump becomes potus, he has changed permanently and not just during the primary.

The problem is, did he vote for McCain, because if anyone who voted for McCain has no grounds to reject Trump on any of the issues likes integrity.

You’re right, people do change.

Why did Reagan change? The law he THOUGHT was being reasonable resulted in over 100,000 additional abortions. That changed his mind.

What changed Trumps? What is the turning point for him?

The only thing you can point to is the desire of his to run for office.

He changed parties to get elected, because on the RAT ticket, the liberal playing field is already full.

The agenda to divide was in full display yesterday afternoon with the faux tea party supporter endorsing an abortion supporter from New York, 2 weeks before votes are cast in Iowa.

Have you seen who's running the federal government these days? I hate to tell you but tyranny is already here.

Communion you take once your heart is prepared, AFTER asking for forgiveness.

The act itself is NOT asking for forgiveness...

It’s besides the point: he other positions and lack of principles speak volumes on his character and integrity, or lack of.

I am all for vetting and proving a candidate.... but doing so with good evidence... rather than straining at gnats while swallowing a Hilldabeast.

And this from a company owned by a man in a cult...

Somehow, God (the only God) managed to fulfill His purposes through ungodly men many times in Scripture.

History demonstrates that the size of such rallies is often not an indicator of a positive outcome of electing that person.

Just look at what you have learned about such things in world history....the most recent being the election of Mr. Obama.

Better to have a Trump or a Cruz in the White House than a Clinton or a Sanders, because the latter two will do greater harm to Christians in a special way in the USA and to Americans in general, remember that.

That is not necessarily true. Godlessness is not a matter of party affiliation anymore.

I know that, but we are electing a President, not a Pastor!

Put it this way: you might getgodless candidates no matter what.

Not if faith is part of the equation.

tyranny is sure to follow when you give unspeakable power to a man who believes he is God.

Americans have already done that. This election is about a course correction (before it's too late).

Same thing in regards to Trump, God could use him.

poor excuse. Liberty has responsibilities.

I’d estimate that about 90% of past presidents have been “Godless” in the true sense of the word. We’re still here.

Wonder what he has in store for America? He wants something but what?

Thank you for the reminder on those quotes. I had read them before, but appreciate the refresher.

As to what he wants, do you mean before of after he has TRUMP stenciled on Air Force One?
