Flip in that Congress won’t be able to support their favorite Iran partner. Flip in that he will veto horrible budgets instead of pushing for them, push for military, etc.

Such as? How? Any specifics, Don?

I can’t believe people fall for this bloviator’s line of fluff.

<><><><

The Trump way is to provide cash to politicians to do his bidding. He has gotten quite rich (did y’all know that?) doing business this way. He admits this without shame.

But he’s the guy who is going to clean up Washington?

How is that gonna work?

Every president has to deal with Congress to be successful.

Trump wrote the Art of the Deal. I wouldn't have to go negotiate with him.

How about the EPA,when they say you want everyone to have water like Flint Michigan?
And so on and so on,I will tell you what he will do,he will cave every single time because he can’t deal with being called names,I bet that’s not in his deal book, his ego

Somebody just showed their true colors. Governing America is not about any "Art of The Deal".

Idiot.

Reagan made deals. Because someone makes a deal doesn’t mean they’re selling us out. It’s the connotation of the word that’s scares off conservatives.

Trump makes deals for his projects, that didn’t mean he gave the contractors every thing they wanted. What he did was negotiate to get the best for his team and that’s what he’ll do for us. You can’t stop passing budgets, funding the military, etc. because you don’t want to deal with Democrats.

In large part, the damage has been limited BECAUSE of gridlock. The hated Gang of Eight bill was a product of dealmaking. It was partisan gridlock that prevented giving citizenship to 12+ million illegals.

The recent budget deal was hailed as a compromise deal that AVOIDED gridlock.

And folks plan on voting for Mr. “I’ll Make Deals To Get Rid Of Gridlock.”

With a majority of repubs in the house and senate why would Trump even need to make deals with democrats if not to advance the democrat agenda?

Reagan did it repeatedly with Tip O'neil and others. Gingrich did it with Clinton.

If you make a deal where you negotiate with leverage and in support of the principles you support, deals are good.

Why is "Conservative" now associated with no compromise and no deals?

If our Republican majorities were so all powerful why have we been screwed for the last two years?

If I agree with any of this it’s that Trump is out of touch on his wording, deals, negotiate, etc. is a huge red flag to conservatives.

Its going to be OK children. Trump is not “that” deal maker. Trump will make both dems and pubbies heads explode. He will form coalitions never seen before. He will exert pressure and apply leverage in unique and very effective ways. And he will get things accomplished that are substantive and important. AMERICA FIRST! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

GRIDLOCK 2016 should choose TERM LIMITS for running mate.

Then we might have a chance.

You fools support traditional conservative republicans time and time again, only to be sold out once they’re in office.

Someone comes along who can’t be bought, willing to take on the establishment as well as the media, and you do nothing but ridicule the man and his supporters.

Thank god the GOP is in its death throws. You’re all a bunch of geriatric, absent-minded, impotent fools.

The reason for the intransigence on Capitol Hill is because the Democrats discovered in the mid-90’s that if anything goes wrong, the public, by default, blames the Republicans.

In the years since, the liberals have refused to agree with any proposed legislation that would even marginally be beneficial to the GOP. Ergo, gridlock.

Which, of course, is blamed on the Republicans.

“If our Republican majorities were so all powerful why have we been screwed for the last two years?’

It’s called deal making.

What part of deal making are you too thick to understand?

Deal making with democrats is what got us here, we don’t need more of it.

Any deal with democrats advances the democrat agenda.
