Thanks to hussein showing up in LV my plane ride home was cancelled and i got both a free night in a nice room at South Point and a $500 voucher from South West Airlines.

On the local level when you run, the first thing.. the first thing is you take out an account listing the amount of money that you’ve raised for your campaign. You put down for example what you’ve loaned to the campaign, what you’ve spent, what you take in etc.

It’s a single form. I’m not sure what they’re referring to here, as Cruz insists that he reported the loans on one form but not another.

I’m confused. IF he reported it on the one form what is the second form?

He reported it in his financial papers to the senate after he was elected.

He was supposed to file it with the FEC before he was elected.

Some speculate that the reason he didn’t file it with the FEC before he was elected was that he was trying to avoid linking his name to GS because he ran for his senate seat as an “outsider”.

Levin is trying to claim that it isn’t a requirement that he file with the FEC but he is wrong for the reason I stated in my other post.

I lost all respect for Levin when he started twisting, what I thought were his principles of honesty, to make excuses for Ted.

He also has a habit of being no better than the Cruzbots on here in twisting the meaning of things Trump says.

Now Levin is out there saying that Trump said what Ted did was worse than what Hillary has done.

The truth is that the meaning of what Trump said about Cruz being worse than Hillary is that Ted is smart and Hillary is not. Levin construed it to mean that Trump thinks Cruz is worse overall than Hillary.

I don’t have the video clip of Trump’s remark but if you watch it you can clearly see what he meant.

I think Trump pays for some pretty good and reliable recon on his opponents. The timing of the natural born resident issue is interesting. Did he know in advance that there were law suits pending?

Don't have the links, however challenges were floating out there from different news sources. I just assumed at the time that it was just mud being slung about.

As it heated up and then with Mr. Trump requesting the Senator Cruz clear it up, I began looking more closely at it.

It was going to come out anyways and I respect Mr. Trump for raising it. It was very prescient. How Senator Cruz behaved afterwards pretty much precluded him from the VP position. It was not the attacks on Trump that did that, but Cruz's lack of transparency with the issue.

The Dems were locked and loaded on that one and the Uniparty was playing both sides of the fence.

That’s probably why Trump was asked about it in the first place, as he didn’t bring it up.

What’s more telling is NONE of his fellow colleagues came to defense. To the contrary, they abandoned him.

Does anyone know what the relationship is now between Trump and Paul? That would be an interesting combo.

I think Cruz is out. He’d be more effective in the Senate then give him a SCOTUS position.
