Well hells bells! I don't think it's throwing my vote away by voting for Cruz in the primary. how did you come to that conclusion?
If cruz does not win the primary, I might face that situation, and frankly I always face that situation after every primary. We call it holding our collective noses and voting for a stinker. It has never worked.
I will vote in the primary for the most conservative candidate that can have a equal chance at winning the general and that is not easy to calculate pre-election. But it's easy to eliminate Trump because he does not have a Conservative philosophy. Not at all!
On the other hand, Cruz is Reaganesque and totally conservative. I trust him. I don't need to give it another thought.

No. No. Levin’s audience has been with him since the start. If he had never met Cruz, his positions would be the same.

But, would he still have been as emotional and intense for Cruz? You see he disclosed beforehand that he knew Cruz, but never disclosed the extent of this association which he was forced to disclose tonight. He would not have disclosed it now unless he believed the information was relevant and he decided he had to get out in front of it before it became public. He can interpret it as a threat because it is embarrassing but that is the risk he ran by not being more upfront with the facts. Because the facts are relevant to the big picture of where he was coming from on Cruz he should have been more forthright about it from the get go to safeguard his credibility.

Mark talks about a strong conservative and a chance to vote for one in any election. He talks equally about what he likes/dislikes about all the candidates.
