SHOCK: Trump’s official voting record released by NYC, shows he has been Repub since 1980

Donald Trump’s official voting record has been released, showing that he was a registered Republican since at least 1980, throwing water on the theory that he was at one time a Democrat.

This is causing major panic in the Cruz campaign that insisted that Trump recently switched his affiliation.

Voting records for Trump’s adult sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, were not immediately available.

Trump is leading by wide margins in New Hampshire, South Carolina, Florida, and nearly every other state where pollsters take the Republican electorate’s temperature.

In Iowa, he is running neck-and-neck with Republican Sen. Ted Cruz in some polls, and leading him comfortably in others.

On Thursday in Las Vegas, Trump boasted of a new Emerson College poll that shows him leading Cruz there by 10 points.

‘Cruz is going down,’ he told a packed ballroom at the South Point casino. ‘He’s like a nervous wreck. He’s going down. He’s had his moment.’

Great solid info in your posts. Many thanks. This place has a near intolerable signal to noise ratio, and your post sticks out like a beacon.

“Trump only voted in general elections,”

Only?
Didn’t look like “only” to me.

Are you SERIOUS?? What benefit would there be to register as Republican if that isn’t how Trump wanted to be identified?

LOL.....Should have said ONLY one primary in 15 years. Only voting in one primary in 15 years sounds like someone ought to give Mr. Trump a lesson civic responsibility.

Too bad the Russian blogger's headline misleads. Did you get that part?

Pretty much sums up Trumpet tactics lately..

I honestly assume that every headline is misleading, and anybody with an ounce of sense takes that same approach. Both sides in the Cruz/Trump battle are spinning their asses off.

I was expressing gratitude for sterile and accurate information. I find arguments that ring of complaining about opposition tactics to be juvenile. Not that I don't have opinions about which are cheap shots, misleading charges and cross charges, out of bounds remarks and so on. I do. But Trump's party affiliation over time is what it is, and I appreciate knowing it. I'll form my own opinion without your help.

The "R" under "voter type" stands for "Registered," not for Republican.

The "R" under "Ballot Type" stands for "Regular," not for Republican.

LOL.

Thanks for the info.

We shall know the (D)onald by his fruits, not his registration (especially since he doesn’t seem to care to vote in primaries anyway).

I don’t think it’s a “lie” that he’s switched parties over the years. This has been a matter of public record that as been out there for a long time that to my knowledge Trump himself hasn’t denied

Oh for crying loud give it up already. If this is true (and it looks to be) when he voted he voted for the Republican candidate every single time. Every. Single. Time.

Where does this official record show that he switched parties, as you claim?

If he’s such a good republican, they why did he donate to the campaigns of folks like Charlie Rangel and Harry Reid?

Ted Cruz’ net worth is tied up in his campaign. Ted has nothing else backing him. No fortune to fall back on. I for one am sick of watching lawyers turn to politics to make their millions.

Of course he can go back to defending Chinese Companies that steal US technology and chasing ambulances like Cruz has in his past.

“Among them, Mr. Cruz helped defend a Chinese tire company facing a $26 million jury verdict for copying technology stolen from a U.S. businessman, work that contrasts with the current anti-China rhetoric of rival Donald Trump. He also participated in two New Mexico personal-injury cases that sought to preserve historically large punitive damages, despite supporting sharp limits on such payouts elsewhere.”

http://www.wsj.com/articles/in-private-practice-ted-cruz-often-left-his-conservatism-at-the-door-1453405929

Why are Ted Cruz supporters not discussing this? If Ted prevailed as the party nominee, there is so much to hit him with, he is not vetted.
