relax ace, i’m voting for him. ted lost me with the NY values comment and some of his votes.
unlike most, though, i’ve been reading about him since i was 15, and i can promise one thing, we will only know what he is about after he gets in office, unlike, say, a Reagan.

The single biggest thing going for Trump, in my honest opinion is, he is not controlled by any mega-rich donors. Which frees him to do the right thing for the whole country instead of for the benefit of just the rich donor class.
Nobody can guarantee the future, but from what I have observed, Trump at nearing age 70, will pursue legacy in the form of nationalistic patriotism than chase after more money. God knows he does not need more money and he is smart enough to realize that.
Best of all, he does not fear the media, does not cow tow to GOP elites, and shut Hillary up in one day over the phony war on women issue. Who else has done these things?
After being so mislead by GWB and Obama (what they promised vs what they did), I now realize we can never be sure about what we're getting with a pol.
I became a supporter of Trump because I trust his motivations. He's a real made-in-the-USA original with a lot of pride in his accomplishments. He obviously loves his children. He has made his campaign fun for so many, with huge free rallies, helicopter rides, free movies, turning TV political news into an adventure more entertaining that most TV dramas. He'd rather sell you merchandise than have you make a small donation, and he doesn't want a large donation at all. Trump is PT Barnum + Reagan with a little bit carnival barker thrown in. He knows when to care...with vets who are hurting, with families who've lost love ones, etc.
What's my point? Trump really, really wants to bring back all that's been lost of what's made the US such a great country, the one where a person could have a great life and tremendous success. He wants it for his kids, he wants it for all citizens, and he wants it because his ego wants to have him be the best President ever, the one that saves the US.
Every AM, I wake up, and all the crazy stuff I've read and heard the day before has become somewhat coherent thoughts. And this is where I'm at when people are nervous about Trump's motives. The man does what he sets out to do. And he's set out to Make America Great Again.
