Gun-grabber Bloomberg would take votes away from democrats, which would make someone like Trump even more likely to win, one would think.

I am concerned he could pick up moderate Republican voters who don't really care about guns one way or the other. I imagine there's more than a few of those out there.

I do not believe that Sanders would be a viable candidate if not for the fact that Hillary is not such a reviled one.

In any other year a 75 year old Socialist Senator from a relatively small nearly entirely white state would have no chance at winning even the Democrat nomination.

Sure at least 47% of the electorate will vote for more free government handouts but they can get that from Hillary.

He could certainly knock Hillary out of the ball park, and so there fore I don’t think after a few phone calls for days on end, flat tires on limos, hit pieces in the media, he would think about this a little more...

Would Cruz be able to get any nominees through at ALL?

If the Republicans keep control of the Senate then yes. Most of the RINOs will vote for whoever is nominated. Only the Democrats will vote to block any conservative nominee. Plus if RINOs do decide to block Cruz nominees a whole bunch of them will be up for reelection in 2018.

Even if every Cruz nominee is blocked for the next four or eight years we would be better off than we would be with any new liberals on the Court.

It's going to be hard for any Democrat to stop Trump's momentum now.

The primaries are starting soon and Bloomberg is not on the ballot.   His only chance would be a win at the convention.

Bloomberg always struck me as a kind of technocrat pol.  Does he have any charm or charisma?   Do enough people really know him outside of New York?

If he were to get the nomination, Bloomberg may do better than Hillary, Bernie or Biden, but it's a bit late.   He would have trouble building momentum this late in the game.

Besides, to be even thinking of entering the race right now reveals his lack of good judgement.   He doesn't understand what the people are looking for.

Have you seen Trump's new video on the subject of Jobs?   That ad is aimed directly at working class voters -- Demo, GOP, and Independent -- and it's powerful.

Trump zeros in on his targets like a heat-seeking missile.   Bloomberg would go down in flames.

I agree. Bloomberg is a comical figure with his food bans - a low energy guy lacking in charisma and out to grab our guns. He is getting started a little too late as Independent. His best chance would be on the Democrat ticket.

The only reason this lowlife is running is because of Trumps stand on the 2nd amendment. But the good thing is nobody can stand Bloomberg, so let him run, it’s not going to do anything. I lived in New York city when this pig was Mayor and he was nothing but a two bit midget fascist, a lisping nanny state queen.

Bloomberg is successful...yes. However he comes across as an elitist snob, precisely what tacky Trump does not.

Bloomberg ran as a republican for mayor. He’ll pull a lot of centrist, urban repubs and dems. If Hillary is the nominee, Bloomberg hurts her most and the republican wins. If sanders is the nominee, Bloomberg will get all of the moderate dems and some of the repubs and could win. Then we’d have a king instead of a president.

I wouldn’t mind seeing him go bankrupt after a failed candidacy.

We talking about Bloomberg? The man that thought himself so indespensible he set aside NYC term limits? That same ego ? The man that is so smart he gets to decide how much soda you should drink? The man that knows how many firearms you have? Plz.
