This doesn’t take away the fact that it was proposed before and fell down. An acts of God exception would very NEATLY gut such problems. People can keep on going la la la la with their fingers in their ears, or they can consider. I’m but a voice in the wilderness. Maybe someone will pass it on to Paul, though.

We outlaw homicide in the case of born people. Born people get killed in ten thousand different ways that don’t trigger a homicide investigation. Lightning, disease, heart attacks, strokes, car crashes not caused by drugs or alcohol, etc.
NOTHING Paul is proposing would trigger homicide investigations in the case of natural fetal death, natural miscarriages, etc.
Let go of this irrational obsession.
