A new Reuters poll of Republicans shows that GOP frontrunner Donald Trump has expanded his national lead over rivals since his Jan. 19 endorsement by former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.
The new poll of 2,508 Republicans, taken over several days, showed Trump at 40 percent and Cruz sharply down to 10.5 percent. That's a 29.5-point margin.
Reuters' Jan. 19 results showed Trump at 33 percent to Cruz's 16 percent, which was a 17-point margin.
The Reuters poll is here, and can be adjusted to show the candidates' popularity among various subgroups. For example, Trump scored 38.4 percent among marrieds, 39 percent among people with an income of $50,000 to $70,000, 37 percent among people who earn above $150,000, and 36 percent among people older than 60.

The Establishment is going CRAZY....
Expect tricks, smoke and mirrors from the Establishment Media in the upcoming Fox News Debate.
A few days old but in what world does Jeb Bush even get 9%? Are there 9% that have him confused with GW?
If none of the establishment get out of the race we will know they are going for a brokered convention.
They can’t try to drive the narrative anymore, so they are now telling us what’s really going on with the polls so they don’t lose much face on Caucus night.
Is all the Trump/Cruz bitterness gonna give us Trump/Rubio 2016?
It will.
Past comments will be disregarded. Cruz will be “a terrific guy with so much knowledge and know-how it’ll make your head spin... he’ll make a fantastic vp”
Rubio is a no-go due to his amnesty desires.
With as much as Trump’s lead is, he doesn’t so much “need” anyone for the election. He’ll want someone who can help him after he’s elected. That’s Cruz IMO.
Ping to 41% Trump and 11% Cruz, a 30 point difference:
Can you say: “Republican nominee, Donald Trump!”?
Ping....
GO.TRUMP.GO!!!
Monday starts off real nice.
Will the elites get it now?
>>It would be hilarious if it ends up being Trump/Cruz 2016 even after all of this battling.
Reagan vs Bush in the primaries became Reagan/Bush in the White House. Steel sharpens steel.
15 ball in the side pocket.

Hey, there! From the bottommost reaches of my little pea-pickin’ heart, this country girl out here in flyover country wants to THANK YOU for your National Review article on Donald J. Trump! I represent this vast expanse of Americana out here — more commonly known to YOU as “The-Land-of-the-Ignoramus-Dumbazzes” — and we just cannot thank you enough. How thoughtful of you, bless yer hearts.
Please... Write more about The Donald in your next issue. Your lovely pontifications and verbal works of eloquence are very helpful to us dumbazzes as we try to make important voting decisions. Many of us have been conflicted about Donald — it’s been so hard to figure out if he’s one of “You, The Establishment,” or one of “We, The People.”
Not any more! You are just sooooo inspiring. More! More!
Now pardon me while I go brew up some sweet tea and sit down to watch the bug zapper.
Later, Gators!
Nits

Ouch! Not good numbers for my wing of FR.
The party gets a much bigger voice in who the VP pick is. In 1980 Reagan got stuck with Poppy Bush, he was NOT RR's pick. I wouldn't be surprised if Trump gets the nomination that he gets stuck with Rubio. I still have hopes for a Trump/Cruz ticket though.
