I don’t get it. Nothing wrong with him making that statement. Doesn’t prove she knew what the question would be, although I’m sure she did.
What I have a problem with is that his remark seems out of place considering the ‘question’ he then read to her.
CNN handed him the question and told him to ask the question.

Meaning, it isn’t a town hall of random voters asking real questions. It’s scripted b.s. fraud show biz.
1) He started out with 'Secretary Sand (as in 'Sanders').. Uhh.. Clinton, Sorry"
2) He then said "I can see why they gave you this question.." WELL, YEAH BECAUSE IT WAS A SOFTBALL QUESTION ABOUT PAST PRESIDENTS!!.. LOL!!!

CNN also shared the first debate questions with Hillary, IMHO. If you go back and watch, it’s a ‘aren’t you a flip flopping fraud’ question from Anderson Cooper and, without a second going by, she instantly went into an answer. The crowd was laughing a bit because it was hard hitting, but she gave no reaction. Just went into her pre-scripted answer.
Press noticed it immediately as well:

Even interviews on MSNBC by Democrats are total fakes where they have all the questions and scripted TelePrompTer answers, eg Wassermann-Schultz mispronouncing misled which would only happen if she were reading a pre-determined answer.

It was like the debate when the other candidates were asked if black lives matter, but the question was changed when it was her turn. CYA Hillary—which is quite a job because she has gotten a little “girthier” since her First Lady days!
Boxers or briefs was a scripted question too.
It wasn’t written by the organizers of the event (MTV) but the audience was hand picked (the girl was the daughter of a CBS News woman, same parent corp as MTV at the time) and the couple discussed questions at home deciding to go with a question about legalizing recreational drugs. The organizers nixed that question and asked if she had anything lighter, thus the boxers or briefs question was approved and coordinated for the live event.
