“They are chasing shiny objects.” While ardently proclaiming the Moon is Stilton.

One of my problems with Trump is that he supports an “assault weapons” ban..

No he does not! Since the very beginning, he has been the most dependable of almost all the candidates on the 2nd Amendment. Whatever views he held as a businessman trying to get the job done among a huge consortium of multiple views (most liberal to far left fringe) he had to do to get his bottom line healthy. By any standard he is extremely successful.

I heard this today on Fox & Friends and it is a truth that many conservatives do not want to understand. As much as I love the Founding Fathers, we are never going to see another Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, or James Madison ever again and there is no use in seeking any of them in our current society and certainly not in this slate of candidates.

Everybody has things in their past which when taken out of context or heck kept in context and just held up to the light may seem to disqualify them from the Oval. Rubio has done the digging (opposition research they call it) and found a legal case where Cruz represented a Chinese corporation in an appellate action against a man wrongfully deprived of his work product and the defendant was held liable by the lower court. So Cruz represents the appellee challenging the verdict as a part of a law firm where he worked. Yes he represented the CHINESE against an aggrieved American businessman and inventor who'd already won in court and then Cruz comes along to overturn the damages! Tough. That's the job Cruz had as an attorney! That's his job to act as a legal gunslinger to do the best job for his client who was paying good money for legal representation. Does that mean he doesn't have the chops to be the POTUS? Hell no!

But the same can be said for Donald Trump in the many stances he has had to assume to make the huge amount of money he has in his career. Trump can win. I don't think Cruz can.

Then he’s changed position, which is ok. Folks can come around.

And these folks are not using correct information...

So if he is solidly pro-2nd Amendment, then consider my concerns alleviated.

Thanks,
SZ

You haven’t been paying attention, have you? It’s not going to be Clinton.
