Dana Loesch Endorses Ted Cruz for President

HOUSTON, Texas - Today, the Cruz for President campaign announced the endorsement of Dana Loesch. Loesch is an author, radio and TV host and a leading conservative voice across the country. She hosts her award-winning, nationally syndicated daily radio show, The Dana Show: The Conservative Alternative and also hosts Dana on The Blaze television network.

Dana Loesch Endorses Ted Cruz on The Dana Show (Audio)

"Dana is a fearless conservative who is not afraid to confront the liberal media bias head on," said Cruz. "She is a passionate fighter for liberty and an important voice for conservatives. I am thrilled to have Dana on our team and work together to win the White House in 2016."

Loesch co-founded the Tea Party movement in St. Louis and speaks regularly on the subject of new media, gun control, anti-feminism, and grassroots. She was one of the original Breitbart editors selected by her late friend and mentor, Andrew Breitbart. She appears regularly on Fox News, ABC, CBS, and CNN. Loesch has continually and relentlessly fought for conservative principles, specifically our second amendment right to keep and bear arms, stopping Obama's lawless executive orders, defunding Obamacare and protecting our Constitutional liberties.

“I have said that I will pull for the most consistent conservative in the race," said Loesch. "As one of the original founders of the modern-day Tea Party movement, I watched grassroots conservatives support Ted Cruz's David and Goliath success against Dewhurst and the Republican establishment. Cruz has fought to repeal Obamacare, shrink the size of government; he has defended our gun rights, our right to privacy, our sovereignty and borders. I personally feel that Ted Cruz is the best choice to reverse America's road to ruin and am proud to support him in the 2016 Republican primary.”

Dana is listed in the top 40 of Talkers Magazine's top 100 "heavy hitters" and was named Missouri's #1 Radio Personality in 2014. A former award-winning newspaper columnist and notable blogger since 2001, Dana was ranked as one of the top 16 most powerful mothers online by Nielsen and one of the top 30 Under 30 according to the St. Louis Business Journal.

Great to see a tried, true, real, grass-roots, Tea Party conservative coming out for Ted Cruz. This is the real conservative movement on display here. As opposed to a power-hungry billionaire making up his values as he goes and bamboozling the gullible with empty promises as he tries to cut a great deal for himself.

Once you compose yourself, please tell us about even ONE occasion before running for President, on ANY issue, when Trump stood up for conservatives in Congress and across America. (A time when Trump joined the good fight for principle, and against the establishment position.)
I can think of Trump railing against bad trade deals. Any other time?

Absolutely. We’re rolling the dice on Trump. No doubt about it. Desperate times, desperate measures.

What you propose is not a fair comparison. Ted Cruz is a career politician. Sorry, I refuse to be smitten by his self interested beltway theater performances. Apparently, all 99 of his colleagues feel the same way.

Where was Ted Cruz when Kate was bleeding out in the street in San Francisco? MIA. Trump lead the national debate on immigration and unfair trade. Where was Cruz when Trump was under withering fire for setting the debate? Nowhere to be found. It was Trump that put illegal immigration central to this campaign. As in the senate, Cruz has not been a leader and constantly followed Trump’s positions.

I was a big fan of Ted Cruz’s for many years until he campaigned for Barack Obama trade agenda in the U. S. Senate. After that I reviewed his record and was deeply troubled by his careerism and support of the globalist agenda in the U. S. Senate. Therefore, I withdrew my support from him and moved over to the Trump Train.

“Since you brought it up I’ve never heard anything from Cruz about/to Democrats like we’ve heard from him about Republicans.”
Who stole the election from Chris McDaniel? Mitch and other Republicans, not the Democrats. Why should he give Republicans quarter? The reason you don’t hear about Ted embarrassing Democrats is b/c it is considered un-newsworthy, like dog biting man.

Trump said in a debate he did not oppose bringing in all the foreign labor Mark Zuckerberg wanted. He’s also said repeatedly he wants any foreigners graduating from our colleges with high-skilled degrees to be allowed to immigrate here instead of go home.

Trump was unaware the position paper on his web site bashed Zuckerberg.

Indeed. Zero doubt regarding any guilt.

I will ping Laz, a dedicated Trumpinista, to arbitrate any decision regarding guilt.

I expect people would have nothing to show but IOUs with Trump’s shiny autograph on them in place of all of his forgotten conservative primary positions.

Will Trump stop being anti-establishment once he’s a sitting President?

How do you expect to ever get an anti-establishment force in the government to fix things if the minute they get elected you accuse them of being establishment? And I thought liberals suffered from logical fallacies.

Cruz can’t win. He will have the rats, the republicans and the media stop at nothing to take him down. Just like they did palin. Trump has proven he can take them all on.

Srsly? You missed his 19-hour filibuster against Obamacare?

His almost singlehanded takedown of the Gang of 8 was an attack on both RINOs like Rubio and Dems like Schumer.

Where was Trump when Kim Davis was jailed for her Christian beliefs? He was out there saying she needed to follow the law of the land while Cruz was meeting with her.

Trump is campaigning on illegal immigration while Cruz actually did his job and stopped the Gang of 8 bill, one of his many actions that have inspired RINOs to hate him.

The Democrats haven’t even begun to unload on Trump yet. They’ll attack him as a billionaire who cons the little guy as well as a sexist and a racist and he’ll lose in a landslide. It’ll be the anti-Romney campaign times 10. They will actually have more evidence to suggest Trump is anti-woman than they did on Romney. Trump already polls worse against the Dems than Cruz.

And the fact that Trump is such a flip-flopper will cause a lot of conservatives to stay home.

Like Dana, I too live in St. Louis, and I likewise support Cruz. Missouri's primary is March 15.

Used to listen to her in StL, but I think she moved to Texas a couple of years ago.

Cruz didn’t stop anything. The Gang of 8 bill passed the Senate. It died in the House after all the kids starting showing up at the border and spooked the GOPe.

Apparently you're right. I did not realize she had left St. Louis and moved to Texas.

Another reason I do not trust Trump to govern as a social and constitutional conservative.

Dana was very nice to Trump, and as Trump turned on her for not bowing to every word Trump utters. Nice how he treats friends. That is when I began my second thoughts on Trump.
