Trump wants to be POTUS. He should put on his big-boy pants and attend the debate like an adult seeking the highest office in the land instead of acting like a petulant little brat.

His attack-the-media strategy has been an effective weapon for him. The media has deserved the treatment they’ve gotten most times.

A presidential debate is different. It’s not about Trump and the media and ratings. It’s a job interview in front of the American public. Donald’s refusing to attend is a slap in the face to the people who want to hear him answer substantive questions about how and why he’s qualified for the job he’s seeking instead of campaign-pep-rally rhetoric.

Big boy pants, you say? So Mr. BuckeyeTexan, when did you stop beating your wife? That’s a how Fox “debate” with Megyn Kelly would go. I don’t blame Trump for walking on it after that mocking PR today.

That’s a good insight into his motivations. He sees this more as a game. He tends to reduce everything to that level. He has exhibited an indifference to moral reasoning.
