Last night news broke that #OregonStandoff Spokesperson Robert "LaVoy" Finicum was shot and killed during a federal traffic stop near Burns, Oregon. In the hours following the shooting reports started coming out suggesting it may very well be possible Finicum had his hands up and did not present a weapon, nor did he attempt to cause harm to agents.

The reports asserting this included claims there was a witness or witnesses in the vehicle who watched the entire event unfold. But until now we hadn’t heard from those witnesses publicly.

Now one of the witnesses has completed a gut-wrenching interview in which she says FBI agents fired an estimated 120 rounds at Finicum and his vehicle, six of which entered his body.

Here's more from the video page.

This is breaking, first-hand, eyewitness audio testimony of how LaVoy Finicum was killed by federal agents on January 26, 2016. The young lady's voice that you're going to hear was in the car with LaVoy, Ryan Payne, Ryan Bundy, and Shawna Cox.

The federal agents fired the first and only shots, according to this testimony. Finicum had his hands in the air when he was shot.

You're going to likely see video testimony from this young lady in the near future. Please pray for this whole situation. This is a tragic thing that didn't have to happen had cooler heads prevailed.

Full video interview below.

Yeah, I caught that too.

Not that it surprises me that someone would say such a thing.

Romans 13:1-2

“Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.”

“Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.”

___________________________________________

The king of Egypt said to the Hebrew midwives, whose names were Shiphrah and Puah, “When you are helping the Hebrew women during childbirth on the delivery stool, if you see that the baby is a boy, kill him; but if it is a girl, let her live.” The midwives, however, feared God and did not do what the king of Egypt had told them to do; they let the boys live. Then the king of Egypt summoned the midwives and asked them, “Why have you done this? Why have you let the boys live?”

The midwives answered Pharaoh, “Hebrew women are not like Egyptian women; they are vigorous and give birth before the midwives arrive.”

So God was kind to the midwives and the people increased and became even more numerous. And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families of their own.

Then Pharaoh gave this order to all his people: “Every Hebrew boy that is born you must throw into the Nile, but let every girl live.”
Now a man of the tribe of Levi married a Levite woman, and she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. When she saw that he was a fine child, she hid him for three months. But when she could hide him no longer, she got a papyrus basket for him and coated it with tar and pitch. Then she placed the child in it and put it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile. His sister stood at a distance to see what would happen to him.

[[Right. So when tyrants and things like Sharia are imposing themselves by force over us, we need to simply lay down and let them rape, kill and slaughter us because this earth is not our home.]]

Exactly- Dynoman apparently believes the murder was justified- and doesn’t feel it’s ever appropriate to stand up against government tyranny- and like you say will very likely be here on FR chastising anyone who takes a stand against those who would impose sharia law on this nation or the like- throwing out of context bible verses at us to justify such cowardice

There is ZERO reason for the members of the Waco cult to have died. It was totally unnecessary.

There is ZERO reason for anyone here to have died.

Is this earth your home? What did Jesus do?

What are you even doing here on this forum then? Did Jesus vote for his civil leaders? No. Do you? Why?

By your reckoning, the Founders committed sin by rebelling by force against the Crown to establish liberty by law. In your misguided pacifist view, anyone resisting evil is breaking God's Law because this earth is not our home and we're just supposed to let this evil world do whatever it wants to us.

Jesus is coming to SLAUGHTER the wicked when He returns and tear down every stronghold that opposes Him and will obliterate every single tyrant that oppresses the widow and the orphan on this world. That is what He is going to do.

Christians who will not stand against evil, will be conquered by evil.

not to mention Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego who refused to worship the king’s idol, nor Daniel who disobeyed the king, or the apostles who disobeyed roman laws about public display of Christianity etc etc etc- All the early Christians also disobeyed the government as well

“What did Jesus do?”

Many, many things. Including advising every man to sell his cloak and buy a sword, and knocking over the till of the banksters of that day while whuppin’ ‘em with a real whip as driven by the arms of a carpenter.

Jesus is not a marzipan candy decoration.

I listened. The man was out of his car with his hands in the air and challenging them to shoot him because he wanted to go see the sheriff. The girl in the car says they shot him point blank 3 times, and that lying on the ground they emptied other rounds into his body.

Consider that maybe this isn't an "either/or" issue as the media wants us to believe. The narrative is that, for liberals: FBI=good, Militia=bad; for conservatives, FBI=bad, Militia=bad. Each of the two accounts we have scene of the Finicum shooting play to one of these angles, but they are not necessarily mutually exclusive.

Both of these groups are made up of people, people who run the spectrum of beliefs, knowledge, experience, world view, politics, religions, etc.

Most if not all of the protestors may have had the best of intentions, but some of them may have been affected by the situation. Mindset, paranoia... these things can be contagious. Some of the protestors have made statements about being armed all the time and willing to die for their cause.

The FBI and other government, at a high level, may be entirely corrupt and willing to provoke a situation in which they can "justifiably" kill the protestors. But your average FBI agent probably just wants to do his job and go home to his family at night. He is being given orders to do certain things, and warned that these protestors are armed fanatics, anti-government terrorists, willing to kill government agents and willing to die, etc.

From the protestors point of view, Finicum may have been getting out of the vehicle and moving away from it to protect the others. He may have had his hands up, moving towards the agents, shouting with righteous indignation for the agents to shoot him instead of the others. And then the FBI "executed" him for no reason.

From the front-line FBI agent's point of view, an anti-government fanatic who has stated he is always armed and willing to die before going to jail jumps out of a truck full of other armed anti-government terrorists, and he starts moving towards them, shouting at them to shoot him. From their point of view, he's a crazy gun-nut and they make the decision to use lethal force.

The most likely explanation of this event is that BOTH sides crossed the line. I understand that he was passionate about his cause, but Finicum made choices and exhibited behaviors that he probably should not have considering the situation he was in. I do not believe that means he deserves to die, don't get me wrong. The FBI agents likely made a bad situation worse, and even if they were only following orders, cooler heads and a more reasonable approach probably could have changed the outcome here dramatically.

I think both sides are in the wrong in this whole Oregon standoff business. I support the protestors' message and their point of view but their methods and their actions did them more harm than good. I support law enforcement and generally think there are probably very few FBI agents who are just walking assassin automatons for the Obama administration. But their track record on dealing with these things is utterly atrocious.

Considering that, I would bet both sides were in the wrong with Finicum's death. I repeat, however, that I am *not* saying Finicum got what he deserved -- not by a long shot. But nor am I convinced that he was just executed while surrendering solely because some FBI "thugs" wanted to send some kind of message.

“Says the traitorous wretch FedGov informant/plant - I do not believe the “eyewitness” accounts - the Feds won’t allow eyewitnesses. If there were “eyewitnesses”, they were FedGov plants, or they would be in jail or dead right now, not free.”

What about the woman eyewitness? Guess she was a FedGov plant/Judas goat too?

The Feds are too poor to afford video cameras, and they're just "borrowing" the Bundy video cameras because they've never seen such cool things.

They'll give them back in 50 years or so.

I'm reading Leon Uris' Armageddon, about the after-war confrontation between the Russians and the Allies over occupied Berlin.

The fibbies would fit right in with the Russian commissars & their NKVD strongarm bullyboys.

Right. Exact same thing the Schutzstaffel and NKVD agents believed too.

They ended up killing MILLIONS LEGALLY, and saw their actions 'justified'.

Nothing new under the sun. We're happily accommodating a despotic Beast and because we tell ourselves that these agents of the state are 'our neighbors', who 'just want to go home to their families at night', we turn a blind eye to what is about to happen to millions of us at the hands of these same agents of the state.
