What Trump Plans to Do During Tommorrow's GOP Debate

by VERONICA STRACQUALURSI

Donald Trump has not yet changed his mind.

The GOP presidential front-runner announced yesterday that he will not participate in tomorrow's Fox News debate.

"I'm not going to do the debate. I'm going to have something else in Iowa," Trump said yesterday.

Tomorrow's debate is the last one before the Iowa caucuses on Feb. 1.

Instead of appearing on stage with his presidential competitors, Trump said he will host an event for veterans in Des Moines, Iowa, during the debate.

"He will...raise money for the Veterans and Wounded Warriors, who have been treated so horribly by our all talk, no action politicians," the Trump campaign said in a statement released Tuesday night.

"When Donald Trump goes to Des Moines and we start raising money for veterans and wounded warriors and we have multiples of millions of dollars raised for these people and the American people tune in because they want to support that and Fox goes back and say they should have had 24 million watching their debate and instead they got 1 million, it's a disservice to the American people," Trump"s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski said today on "Good Morning America."

Lewandowski also claimed this morning on MSNBC that other campaigns have "asked us proactively" to participate in the event and that "it's very possible" that other candidates could skip the debate as well. ...

[I think a empty podium with Trump:s name on it would be a mistake.]

I agree but for a different reason IF Trump DEMANDED it be removed, he would be telling Murdock, Ailes and mods...I’m done with your bias.

It isn’t needed there if the candidate isn’t.

IMO

Trump took more criticism by refusing the debate. Hardly someone who is scared.

>>What is not being reported is that Trump challenged Ailes to donate the extra money they made in the ratings from the first debate to the Wounded Warriors. <<

It would have been a “challenge” if Trump had offered to match Fox’s donation. However, as he put it, all he was doing is trying to shame Fox into a donation while using his celebrity status to get attention for the move.

In that “deal” it would appear he got nothing, and probably irritated the powers that be in the most conservative national new organization in the bargain.

Maybe this time around it will work out better for him?

Yeah, my sweet onyx, I saw that. It’s a tweet from Ann Coulter. I can’t find any confirmation from CNN on it. In fact, they won’t answer repeated inquiries. I wonder if Ann is punking us.

FOX is for Rubio and they are going to give Rubio all the time in the world and Cruz will be left standing there like a loser. Thursday will not be a good night for Cruz.

Cruz will finish 3rd in Iowa. Forth or fifth in NH ...

Good grief. You’re not going to see an empty podium on the stage. Trump has got everyone thinking like a child. Probably in emulation.

The adults in charge of the debate will manage it just fine. Maybe without Trump’s inane distractions, we’ll even end up with a good policy debate. A lot of people have yet to make up their minds in Iowa and New Hampshire.

Trump’s charity event might even raise a lot of money, and that’s commendable, although it would likely raise far more if he didn’t do it as an obvious political gimmick. For that matter, he’s gotten at least ten times the amount of free publicity than any other GOP candidate, so perhaps he’ll use some of what that free publicity has saved him and offer to match all donations?

After all, his reasoning behind asking Fox to donate was that he made them money by appearing. Well, the MSM, including Fox, has saved Trump a boatload of money by providing the amount of free coverage they have thus far. Sauce for the goose....

I'm a Ted Cruz campaigner, although I've often complimented Donald Trump on some of his positions.

Donald Trump is making a SEVERE mistake to NOT participate in the Thursday debate.

Why ?

The three (3) "special guests":

1) Mark Watson (unknown)

2) Ms. Dulce Candy, is an immigrant from Mexico, a former U.S. military servicewoman, and a Latina.

3) Ms. Nabela Noor, is a Muslim American who is an outspoken critic of anyone who, like Trump, questions the motivations of Muslims, Muslim immigrants, Islam, and jihad ... and has reportedly equated Trump with Adolf Hitler.

Is Donald Trump really SERIOUS about "Building the Mexico Wall" ?

THEN tell that (and his reasons) to the Ms. Dulce Candy (to her face) in front of 35 million TV viewers.

Stand His Ground (like Stonewall Jackson).

Say "NO" to the America's assured destruction if Illegal Immigration is NOT STOPPED.

Is Donald Trump really SERIOUS about STOPPING Islamic Terrorism in America ?

THEN tell that (and his reasons) to the Ms. Nabela Noor (to her face) in front of 35 million TV viewers.

Again, Donald. Stand YOUR Ground (like Stonewall Jackson).

Say "NO" to America's assured destruction if Islamic Terrorism is NOT STOPPED.

And ask Ms. Nabela Noor HOW CAN ISLAM claim to be civilized when they strap suicide-explosive belts around their children to EXTERMINATE Christians and Jews ?

Senator Ted Cruz ... STAND YOUR GROUND as well.

We're ALL Watching.

Remember Patton's Speech ?

Echoing General Patton ... both Ted Cruz and Donald Trump need to "wade into the POLITICAL enemy ... spill their blood (politically) ... shoot them in the belly (politically) ...

It's TIME WE WIN this WAR ... Gentlemen ....

Imagine a world without M. Obama haunting the halls of our White House. One less reason for Americans to be embarrassed of our once proud country.
