Any particular reason why Cruz waited until he was in the midst of the campaign to focus on that particular good work? Just before the Iowa Caucus? Exploitation? Cynical exploitation? Am I a terrible person for asking?

ya know almost everything posted here anymore is either + or - Cruz or Trump.
I hope this, I’m from Texas but if Trump wins I hope Ted still remains as Conservative as he’s been and holds no animosity towards Trump, that pertains to Paul also.
I’m not sure if the law in Kentucky has changed or not to allow a person to run for 2 offices but if so I think Iowa or NH is the get out point for Paul to run as Kentucky’s Senator.
I really like Ted as my Senator and although he’d be excellent as a SC Justice. I’m not sure we could produce an equal replacement.
Either way, you all have seen Ted’s skills, I’ll miss him when ya’ll grab him from us.
