Fox’s News Corp Is a Major Donor to the Clinton (CAMPAIGNS)
Breitbart ^ | 29 Jan 16 | Patrick Howley

The parent company of Fox News has helped to finance the career of Hillary Clinton. In fact, the company has helped a lot.

21st Century Fox/News Corp. ranks ninth on the list of the top “corporate and union donors to the Clintons over two decades,” according to a little-noticed list compiled by The Wall Street Journal in 2014. The list counts donations from “companies, foundations, and employees.”

21st Century Fox also ranks as the 13th biggest contributor to Hillary Clinton during her political career, according to a database maintained by the Center for Responsive Politics. The database credits the Rupert Murdoch-owned company as having pitched in $340,936 to her campaigns. That puts Fox just below Lehman Brothers, but eleven spots below second-place Goldman Sachs, on the pro-Clinton list.

Money to the CAMPAIGNS of Mrs. Clinton should cause a “Fair Disclosure” warning be regularly issued

I see this stuff and wonder: if this is true, then why doesn’t FOX want Trump to win the nomination? Every article I see the past few weeks says “Trump can’t beat Hillary”.

Something is fishy.

Well they have that in common with Trump. But when Trump does it, it’s ok because Trump is going to build THE WALL.

Surprised? I posted an article that listed the political donations of Fox news corp and their on air talent in 2008 (I think). They were heavily on the rat side. I was surprised then but no longer.

This is why Fox is determined to make monkeys out of the Republicans, and lead Republicans to pick someone Hillary can beat.

Trump is not a media operation.

He was a business trying to do business in a world of politicians who will play games with your business.

Fox News, on the other hand, is the MEDIA that covers the campaigns, supposedly neutrally.

“. . .they (Fox News) have that in common with Trump”

Such a silly comparison . . a private citizen compared to a Fox News.
Trump can’t be critiqued as being a politician BEFORE he became one.
He has only been a politician for 6+ months.
Fox has been involved in Politics since DAY ONE of their inception.
Such a silly comparison . . a private citizen . . compared to Fox News.

That really funny. Everyone on this forum was defending Trump because they claim he was only doing it in order to buy influence from people like the Clintons or Harry Reid, or Nancy Pelosi. They claim it was "just business".

But you are saying that he was doing it as a "private citizen" which means that he was in agreement on a personal level with the goals of those to whom he was donating.

So which was it? Business or private citizen?

You Trump people refuse to look beyond the Hat and THE WALL.

Been saying it all along. The MSM is owned by the liberal left. All these debates are about trying to make republicans look like clowns.

The dems have two terrible candidates. They know it. The only way they have a chance of winning is if the GOP self destructs.

Trump, like him or hate him, has been the only one to see through the ruse.

Fox news is a club of communists liberals and their only objective is to destroy America. This may be harsh, but where have this group of misfits taken the Country now. It must change and only intelligent Americans can slow it down to a stop.

Trump for President.

“So which was it? Business or private citizen?”

An even sillier question.
He was both . . a private citizen who was running his own business empire.
He was also responsible for the employment of thousands of his employees; as such, he made decisions based on what was best for them, also.
But, then, of course . . you know that.
That’s why yours . . is a silly question.

So is Rupert Murdoch.

So what makes Rupert Murdoch's contributions to the Clintons so bad while Donald Trump's contributions to the Clintons is so good?

Could it be that you just have blinders on?

A couple hundred or few thousand each to the “D’s” in the list don’t leave me thinking Trunp is closet non-conservative. I see these as a tip of the hat and a “good luck” wish that is a cost of doing business.

$50 or $100 K or more starts to constitute serious support from the D, donations of this magnitude are absent from this list.

I wonder if donations of this magnitude actually come from the Donald himself, or more likely someone else in his organization designated to foster these relationships. That person would have a max dollar amount for which they could launch donation and communicate that to the executive, and field the incoming calls for this chump change. Executives hire people to sweat the littler details, like that $400 to Schumer.
