Oh wow, now everyone is hating on Kelly!

Not that I would suggest that they are pulling a page from WWE-wrestling, but it does seem like that Fox and Kelly pretty much finished off any real competition to Trump. Intentional or accidental? Hard to say. In the WWE world....after the guy has reached the top...he’d reward those who helped in the effort...so would Kelly get a job under the Trump administration?
“Cruz once filed an amendment to Rubio’s bill that would have created a path to “legalization,” but he has argued that it was really a poison pill designed to kill reform. Last night, though, Kelly effectively quashed that argument, playing several clips of Cruz insisting that he did want reform to pass. “Was that all an act?” Kelly asked him. “It was pretty convincing!”
After Cruz flailed around for a few minutes, arguing that it was unfair for Kelly to focus on 38 words in a 1000-page bill, Kelly turned to Rand Paul, yet another frequent target of Trump’s barbs. “Senator Paul, you know how Washington works,” she said. “Do you buy that?””
Ouch!
This was a HUGE SCREWUP for her and Fox.
She was SUPPOSED TO take down both Trump and Cruz in this debate, but then Trump walked.
Rather than being easy on Cruz, so as to assure he remains viable (as no one else has a prayer against Trump), she may have just taken out Cruz.
So now Trump wins, and WINS BIG. Bloody Megan will pay, BIG TIME, for this, unless she can shove the blame off to others.
Um, no. Megan and Fox did what Megan and Fox were going to do anyway, Trump was just smart enough to refuse to stand in the line of fire.
I wonder if Cruz and Rubio are kinda wishing now that they had gone to the Trump event instead.
Kelly was ALWAYS helping Trump.

They had they’re chance 1st time around but instead they wanted to pursue the debate differently and now want a do over........too bad too late.

If you say so. Megyn did admit to Teddy after debate interview that they had dug hard and deep and it was a poison pill. She asked the hard question anyway. That is what a journalist does. They don’t do mud wrestling like The One.
I was dying to hear her ask The One about the specific lies Cruz had told (as if flip flops or lies mean anything to The One’s supporters).
By trying to destroy the secondary target, she elevated the standing of the primary target.
Trump's rise in the polls began with his stance on illegals flooding into the country and his insistence on building a wall to keep them out.
Kelly with her amnesty attacks on Cruz, underscored how important an issue securing our borders has become.
Dummy must be kicking herself. They laid a trap for Trump. He refused to fall for the trap and laid a trap for them. They fell for that trap.
Cruz takes a tumble and Trump polling goes higher.
Trump should send Thank You notes to Ailes, Kelly, Baier, Wallace and FNC.
When Trump announced he would not be in the debate, I called it Pure Genius on his part.
Wow! Was I right.
That’s what happens when you are smarter than the rest of the crowd. You know when to side step an ambush. Trump got wind of it and said No Way!

Both Cruz and Rubio were damaged, but more so Cruz.
Why Republicans continue to put up with this is baffling to me. Whether from CNN's Crowley or Fox's Kelly...or any number of "moderators" past and future, the media is intent on electing Democrats and killing Republicans.
All the Cruz supporters know this morning that Trump did the right thing by skipping this debate. And, they wish their candidate had done the same.
Cruz will finish 3rd in Iowa. He had a good shot at 1st.

Um, Cruz, et al, didn’t have to go to the dog-n-pony show. Trump didn’t. Megyn wouldn’t have anyone to mock if they didn’t show up.
