Accusing The Donald of screwing over America to make a buck shows that your passion for Senator Cruz is getting quite passionate. I would be even more impressed if you could offer some examples. Even then, you should admire Trump for what appears to be a conversion. The relationship he had with the politicians was a culture that he and the majority of business owners had with the ruling class. When you live in a culture, it is hard to see beyond it. How he emerged from it, to see it for what it is, is a miracle. It may have been the result of his connections with Sarah Palin. I can only speculate on her influence as, I can only speculate, that Trump may be atoning for his past sins by turning away and shining the spotlight on the entire corrupt culture. I am glad for the repentance. IMHO.

Chick-Fil-A and Hobby Lobby are huge companies that FIGHT liberals and Democrats and stand up for their values, even if it costs them new locations and possible loss of business. You either have values or you don’t.
Reagan didn’t leave the Democrats, they left him. His values were never that in line with the Democrats and the Democrats were far more conservative back then.

Pro Traditional marriage. “Gay rights is not my thing.”
Pro capital punishment “Capital punishment isn’t uncivilized; murderers living is”
Hold Judges accountable
Opposes “Common core is a disaster” Teach citizenship, quit “dumbing down”.
Anti education unions (2000)
For school choice
“Climate Change is a hoax”
“No Cap-and-Tax”
For drilling our own.
On Environment “Good development enhances the environment”
Stressed the importance of a strong family & culture of life (2015)
Supports Israel
Opposes Iran deal and letting Iran obtain the bomb.
Wants to crush ISIS quickly.
Wants a military so strong no one will challenge us.
Against unbalanced trade deals that kill American jobs.
Against warrant-less government surveillance of citizens.
Is against having a high national debt. Warns that $24T is a point of no return.

Thumper is absolutely right. This country is spiraling down the toilet bowl because people have NO shame. There used to be shame in taking welfare. Now that’s gone and Obama and the Democrats are specifically trying to erase the stigma of it. Add in there being less shame for doing drugs, abortion, cheating in school, and you can see this country is going to hell because of a critical lack of shame.
Now, ironically the liberals want to make people ashamed of having guns. You can be shamed for the wrong things too. We’re talking about shaming for the right things, like not getting out to vote while the liberals are taking over the government in a constitutional coup without firing a shot.

I’m not going to take a chance on him being changed when I have a candidate who has been consistent on that issue and many others that Trump hasn’t. Cruz is also a candidate who polls better against the Democrat in the general, so he’s more electable. If it was down to Trump and Bush, I’d vote Trump, but Cruz is the best choice we’ve got now.
