That sounds a lot like Lafayette park in DC during the late 60’s and early 70’s. I have heard they cleaned it some now but it used to a nasty place after dark. In fact, didn’t one of Obama’s guys, the actor who went to work for him, get mugged in that park?

It is a great view of Brickell and downtown Miami at night from the shore

I took my toddlers there
Given so many homos back then in Coconut Grove about a mile south of there that some may have cruised there
But that area has no shortage of green areas
