Among others, I give some to Catholic Community Services, a local Catholic hospital where I used to work and to my nephew’s school (attached to their church), such as for the school auction (the proceeds go to purchasing items for the school, like computers), fitness-a-thon, food for the local foodbank (the school collects items monthly, delivers it and St. Vincent DePaul’s handles it). Just a few ideas.

BTW - FNC is having a lot of their weekly hosts and programming today, including Hannity and Megyn (won’t be watching her - there must be a movie on the Hallmark or Hallmark Mystery & Movie channel during that time, if not, I’ll rearrange my sock drawer).

It has been really disappointing that Fox decided not to cover itself as news - the Kelly fiasco, Fox’s response to Trump dropping out of the debate - Fox has blood on its hands.

In your post 195, you wrote (about Donald Trump), He will be for big government but think he can run it better.

In the long scheme of things, the current President needs to think about not just how he or she would run it, but how the next President would run it. And the next President. And the next ..... so on and so on.

If anything keeps me awake at night, it would be that part. As long as we retain our current form of government, the current President is out of office after 8 years, and then it's up to the next person. See Reagan followed by Bush, or Kennedy followed by Johnson for examples.

Good humor has to have a bit of truth in it. Jeb saying Trump does not have energy is not believable. Trump has very good timing and a nose for humor, Jeb not really.

Not to offend you but, the Catholic church is one of the biggest proponents to Social Justice which is just another way of saying Marxism.

Find a good Bible teaching church. Find one that sticks with the Word and not a new age Christian church. Shop around and take your time to find one you feel comfortable with.

I told them last night no one cares about last minute mailers. Regardless of how off base or even sleazy they are.

Trump supporters are sure Cruz will pay for it, but the dirty little secret is those type of last minute mailers work every time because it’s too late to respond to them.

Many of his supporters do not trust him or expect to be happy about all of his positions, but just want to see DC destroyed. Who better to set a mushroom cloud over the city than Trump?

And what exactly could he do to sell himself to you? I suspect anything he could say would be considered ‘pandering’, so what would it take?

Well, he’s still president, no?

The controversy didn’t die or not isn’t what I meant; rather, that Obama got to be president, and no one did a damn thing legally to stop it, look into his NBC or try to even push threw the view it mattered.

And Obama is also one of the biggest Marxists and promoter not only of social justice, but Islamic justice.

And he’s president of these United States of America.

Yet I won’t leave the country I love. Won’t even if Hillary wins, Nancy Pelosi’s back in charge of the House, and Chuck U. Shumer of the Senate. It WOULD suck, but I’d still love my country...

I’d say you didn’t have to leave the Catholic Church, just find a true conservative parish and support it for all its worth.

Unless of course, state officials take to the airwaves to denounce it, the opposing candidates make a big stink of it, and the media goes nuts about it and won’t stop reporting how insulting and sleazy it is.

Surely that is a disadvantage, no?

Give it time.

If Trump wins the nomination, perhaps he will reconcile with Cruz and others; and even add them to his government.

Many people will come around to the side that will be best for America. Right now we are still in the nomination process. We all have different candidates we’re backing.

How’s that old saying go?

First there’s denial, and then followed by anger. This is followed by bargaining, and then sadness. Finally, acceptance.

M hope is that if—or when ;-) —Trump wins, he’ll pull together the other anti-Washington candidates into one front to Make America Great Again. He’s a bargainer, and needs their help.

Time will tell.

It’s a campaign, the object is to win.

“I like my opponent, he’s perfect, and he has never done anything wrong”, said no candidate, ever.

I don’t know about being a dude-magnet but it’s a concept I could wrap my head around.

I’m not sure how old you are but no matter, you’re not getting any younger.

Now I had, after my husband died and I made a decision to buy my daughter a house across the street, planned that my retirement would be spent enjoying my daughter and granddaughter’s company.

And that got blown all to hell.

I had no plans to get involved with any man in any fashion, figuring I’m beyond all that.

Of late I’m beginning to think differently about this.

I’m thinking the lawyer for now. I’m not really sure he knows I’m alive but I’ll work on it.

;)

And you too should look around. No matter what anyone tells you, being a fifth wheel is no fun.

“Cruz said he was also against subsidies for oil and gas.”

And against the Export-Import bank as well.

FREE Markets - NOT G’Ment markets - The U.S.S.R and Venezuela as well as the Chines are NOT the model we need
