Police estimated 500,000 people attended the largest military parade ever held in New York. Organizers, who placed the turnout at closer to a million, said the parade would not have been a success if it hadn't been for real estate developer Donald Trump, who contributed $200,000 and raised another $300,000. 'Donald Trump saved the parade,' said parade director Tom Fox, himself a Vietnam veteran. 'We had asked for donations from 200 corporations, and none of them came through,' he said. 'This donation is the single most important thing I've ever done,' said a beaming Trump. 'This is more important than all of my buildings and my casinos. This is my way of saying thank you to all the men an women in the armed services who have made it possible for me to become a success. Without them freedom and liberty would be gone.'

it'd be kind of nice to know the names of those corporations and who controls them.
Say what you want about Trump but I believe he truly cares about veterans.
He is getting a bad wrap for kicking homeless vets off the sidewalk in front of Trump Tower.
I don’t know the story. I do recognize why he would not want the homeless begging in front of his tower.
But it is a valid criticism.

The more closely Ted Cruz is examined, phoniness emerges.
Plus he is an annoying shrill short angry man who pretends he is not.
Vote for another freshman senator see how that works out for you.
I do have to say that I think this is a mistake on the part of Trump. Although, he likely didn’t know anything about this letter.

The Daily News is owned by a Democrat the NY Post is owned by Rupert Morlock Murdoch. Trump isn’t going to be getting good press from these Trump haters, no matter what he does.
It doesn’t matter who owns the paper. I am speaking of the facts of the situation. If true, it is a mistake to handle it the way they handled it.
I hope the Trump team looks into their charity and considers it. There is a home base connection.

Interestingly, Cruzers don’t have a problem with Texas Values like “clearing” PP and trying to jail their investigators.

Trump puts his own money where he mouth is. Cruzman Sachs, not so much.
