The more people born elsewhere with such difficulties, the greater the desire among those (commonly poor) populations for health care, and they are often those who cannot afford it.

That often means that care comes from international charities (UN NGOs), the UN, or through some socialist arm of a socialist government.

It also provides a reason to transfer wealth from nations with bigger and/or better economies for the purpose of providing care (even if it buys new rugs for the palace).

That these diseases are spreading benefits interests, among which are a horde of Global Socialists and One-Worlders.

These children, while they may simply be the victims of happenstance, may well be pawns in a much larger game. If the latter is the case, it is doubly sad.
