I would bet Trump knows nothing about it. The people he hires to handle HR and benefits do, but Trump doesn't.

Seriously? Well then how about this? Donald Trump pays millions in health insurance premiums and would love to see the government take over those payments so the money would come out of all our pockets instead of his, cutting his labor costs significantly.
That would be a great deal for Trump, and everyone says he’s great at making deals....for himself anyway.

As opposed to Cruz who obviously doesn’t know how to buy healthcare. Or thought he didn’t know how. But somehow did it without knowing he did.
