THOUSANDS of Democrats, Independents have CHANGED PARTY to Vote in GOP Caucus (VIDEO)
Gateway Pundit ^ | February 1,2016 | Jim Hoft

Jeff Kaufmann: When I talk about intensity, Im talking about, were now getting about 100 phone calls and hour into RPI (Republican Party of Iowa)… To put that into perspective, we get usually 5 or 6 an hour normally. This is beyond the pale… A lot of Democrats and Independents are asking about changing their vote to Republican. The Secretary of State’s report last week indicated over 3,000 people have done that already. I think we’re going to see a little bit of a surge that way.

Kuafmann credited the Trump and Rand Paul campaigns for this surge in new GOP voters.

Well, we will see what happens tonight. Microsoft’s Bing prediction algorithm is saying Donald Trump with 40% of the vote in Iowa.

My opinion, they should not be allowed to change affiliation on an election year...Another year, yes, but not during the primaries or election.

It’s troubling to me that swing states were there is reputed to be a lot of vote fraud (Ohio, Florida) have Republican governors and secretary of state.

“This may be all negated by the blizzard to hit Iowa the next couple of days. Only the determined will go out and vote in bad weather conditions like a foot of snow. This is a big advantage for Cruz.”

That doesn’t make any sense...

“I think many more are swapping party designation to vote for Trump.”

They could still be doing that because they think Clinton or Sanders could beat him easier than they could win over Cruz or Juan Elliot Bush.

This is one of the interesting thing to watch this year. The Conservative media establishment like NRO, Red State, Town Hall et al would rather lose with purity then win by bringing new people into the party.

So odd since these were the same people who told us in 2008 and 2012 we had to go with the “electable” candidates McCain and Romney and put our conservatism in the back seat.

You said...
“While I believe there may be some doing so to gum up the works of the Rep. caucus, I think many more are swapping party designation to vote for Trump. You can’t ignore the turn-out for his rallies. It can’t be all Republicans showing up.

Blue collar America and the shrinking middle class are fed up to their sinuses with Rat policies, PC, Obamacare, and on and on.”

I agree with this. There may be some Operation Chaos but that doesn’t explain the switch from Ind to GOP.

I know quite a few people who cannot stand Trump but stated they’ll vote for him. That’s how fed up people are

It happens a lot when the Dem candidate is certain.

If it turns into a tight race between Hillary and Bernie, it might be different.

Their goal is to vote for the GOP candidate that will be easiest to beat in the general.

They don't think that deeply about it. Caucusing is a pain in the ass. Democrats are focused on The BERNIE! Show...or desperately defending Madame Hillary.

So this is a good thing? The same People who gave us 8 years of Obama now want to pick our candidate?

Many people on the left also think Trump will be a benevolent tyrant.

Get the Donald the nomination so the Deems can win easily in November. Not the first time the Deems have done this.

We’ll know for certain in a few hours, but my guess is these are Trump supporters. At least until the Democrat media succeeds in convincing them he’s a combination of Richie Rich, Daddy Warbucks, and Adolph Hitler.

But, of course, it doesn’t matter then if they are “registered” Rat so long as they vote for Trump. Very happy to see this.
