However this finishes, there’s one thing everyone should really think about.
Cruz was an absolute afterthought when he announced. “Too extreme.” “Everybody hates him.” Blah, blah, blah.
That he was able to put together an organization to take him to a victory, or even a near victory, is an amazing organizational feat that says really good things about his ability to mount a campaign. It’s pretty amazing really.
Hank
Cruz will never be the nominee, you’re electing Rubio.
Agreed. Even if he loses close it shows he can organize better than anyone else. I think that speaks loudly for his ability to be President.
True, especially when it seemed he was headed for an epic meltdown. Now, however, he has to do somwpething about that “all eggs in one basket” problem.
And if we end up with Rubio, it will be EXACTLY as I predicted: Cryz designed to take Trump down for the Rubio bait and switch. I feel that coming now.
I have no basis for this other then hunch. I suspect slightly Trump and Cruz are doing a covert tag team to divide and conquer the enemy. It sure would explain some wierdness . THe game being they go after each other and do stupid but intentional blunders to level the polls out so they are roughly even. This way they suck all the attention . When Trump ditched Fox, that let Ted step up. Ted then mentions Donald first thing and immediatley sucks the other candidates thunder. Just a crazy hunch but that explains the birther attacks and Dons healthcare remarks. THey adjust until they are even roughly. The media and establishment are distracted between the two which one they hate more all the while one will get thru.

Hmmm... where (cough cough Dewhurst) have I seen this before... strong sense of deja vu with this one. :-)
