The Carson camp claimed Cruz's team spread false rumors at caucus sites that Carson had dropped out.
Ben Carson was incensed as the results of Monday night's Iowa caucuses rolled in, accusing the winner of spreading falsehoods about him at caucus sites.

Not just Cruz supporters, I saw followers of other candidates tweet that this is a sign that Carson will drop out.

What it means is you're desperate to spin things in Cruz's favor again. No reason to report that news unless it was to trick Carson supporters into believing he was dropping out, even though Carson's team was denying it.
His supporters here just don’t understand that; sadly.
Isn’t that a big reason that Cruz supporters tout for why they support him? He’s different from Trump, has principles, morals, standards, all that stuff? So, pointing this out is relevant.

I don’t remember saying Trump was going to win Iowa. Maybe I did but if I did it was a mistaken post. I’ve never had an idea who would win but I thought it would be Trump or Cruz. Way too much stuff could happen. To tell you the truth, I’m surprised Rubio wasn’t handed the win. None of this stuff is real.
Could be a photo shop trick against Cruz. Or, NOT. Fraud is not legal and there are election laws, so this needs to shake out.
Surely, pure Tragic Ted would resist this trick, even if he did hire Jeff Roe.
But, given the way Cruz owned that smelly flier mailed out, who knows. Let’s see if he owns this one.
