Cruz repeats the information given by CNN — and you accuse him of a lie. Shame on you for that attack. This is going to be a long campaign.

Christ tells us to do unto others what we would have them do unto us. I would not want to be accused of a lie if I got fooled by a false report, especially in the frenzy of a busy election night. Christians are obligated to avoid false accusations (there’s a commandment for that), and be charitable in interpreting the acts of others, to the extent possible. Sometimes there’s a smoking gun, and a real lie can be proven. But thinking CNN is reporting Carson out, and realizing that could help your guy, is not the same thing.
