Really puts into good perspective what a great historic victory Ted Cruz achieved for anti GOPe Conservatives.

The GOP long knives will be out for Cruz with a vengeance now.

The only caveat that I see is Cruz still has to show he can attract crossover Democrats and Independents.
Had all the evangelicals in IA voted for him, his victory would have more decisive.
The conundrum of expanding the general electorate is still is an issue.
Demographically, America is neither IA nor TX writ large.

I'm a Cruzer that is OK with Trump so my guy won, {I sent in a small VICTORY donation this AM} and Trump came in second which is fine with me.
Of the top four candidates, two first term TEA party senators and two non-politicos, they collectively garnered 84% of the vote.
I know that marco was a tiger that changed his stripes with the gang of 8, but he was a TEA party guy {I know he betrayed us because I sent him money}.
The rest of the field should just go home, get off the stage, get some rest.

Nice article. Cruz had an uphill battle all the way, so this is a beautiful win. Everything but the kitchen sink was thrown at him.
Governor Barn-yard must be having a bad day today. He really went after Cruz. The ethanol lobby went against him, Sarah Palin did her schtick to defeat him, and then there was the "shaming" mailer that was to be the final straw that that ended his campaign.
Ted Cruz went against the ethanol cronies in IA and won. All the naysayers pronounced him losing for not bowing to the cronies.

My congratulations to Misters Cruz, Trump and Rubio.
The first two, I would vote for in a new York minute. Mr. Rubio? I doubt I could, but he is a very smart young man and maybe, just maybe he could win me over.

Yes, this is amazing. It won’t stop those who are blinded by bias against Cruz from coming up with ridiculous statements. But these are facts that are very impressive.
