The sex instinct was another area of human life that the Party sought to kill or at least distort. As a stark example to your post I strongly suggest someone do a thorough research studying the penalty a female teacher receives for sexual misconduct with an underage male student versus the penalty a male teacher receives for sexual misconduct with an underage female student.
Anecdotally, we all know what that study of injustice will show.
