Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz is lashing out at Marco Rubio and Donald Trump on immigration while facing New Hampshire voters for the first time since his Iowa caucus victory.

Cruz charged that Rubio led the fight for "amnesty" for immigrants in the country illegally. He also said Trump didn't do anything to fight immigration reform as the debate raged on Capitol Hill in 2013.

If Trump thought the G of 8 bill was suicide, why did he call for just temporarily sending the illegals home, then bringing them back with amnesty?

He never did call for that. He says that deported non-criminal illegals can apply like anyone else in the world to become legal immigrants to the U.S. That will allow some properly vetted ones to come back in, but I saw him say on TV that they would have to get in the back of the line to come in legally. He has also said that the legal immigration process should be expedited, but its rules should be rewritten to ensure that people we let in will truly benefit the country (he brought up the Canadian immigration system, which values higher education and needed skills, as an example).

Are you running interference for deceiver Trump?

No, I'm simply providing facts, quotes, and links in my posts to clear up misinformation about Trump's positions. Anyone who actually is seeking the truth and is not blinded by hatred of Trump or any candidate should welcome that. (By the way, he said he loves "Mexicans," not "illegal Mexicans.")

show you believe what Trump has promised

I've simply repeated what Trump has said. It's all we have to go on just like Cruz.

There's no guarantee that Cruz or Trump wont evolve, change, flip-flop to smooch a little voter butt.

In my eyes, they are equals: unproven contenders for the top spot. I would expect to be equally disappointed in either President Cruz or Trump.

Sorry, no!

What you have crafted in your imagination was not from Trump

All of Trump’s Mexicans are quite illegal.

I would expect to be equally disappointed in either President Cruz or Trump.

Sure, the future remains unknown, but the past record would give you a reasonable unequal expectation.

Cruz is one angry Canadian. That is because he realizes Iowa is his only win.

Stating the truth is hardly “lashing out””

“Cruz charged that Rubio led the fight for “amnesty” for immigrants in the country illegally. He also said Trump didn’t do anything to fight immigration reform as the debate raged on Capitol Hill in 2013.”

Uh, correct me if I’m wrong - but I do believe that Donald Trump has not yet served even 1 day in public office ... So exactly how was he supposed to do anything about U.S. immigration policy? Oh, that’s right - you need to create a straw man before you can burn it.

“Seems that someone with Trump’s resources and media savvy would have been in a position to make a difference, if he chose to do so. Trump did not.”

That opinion is so damn lame that I am surprise that even you had the stupidity to write it.

No kidding. And the Cruzers here have it totally backwards. I’ve never seen anyone so deeply in denial or simply mixed up.

Cruz supported a 500% increase in H1-B visas (the highly skilled workers, the good jobs) to 500,000, AND advocated that NO CAP be placed on H1-B visas for people from China, India, Mexico and the Philippines. I don't think in his 180 degree flip flop of last fall has he renounced THIS part of his immigration plans. He's said nothing about H1-B visas, as would be expected from one of the Globalist candidates who works directly for NY banks, Goldman Sachs, etc.

I pray that Cruzers will wake up and see this contest is about GLOBALISM versus NATIONALISM.

“Lashes out?”, lol, the NYT is happy with a Trump loss and a Rubio loss but I don’t think they’re so happy with a Cruz win. Mixed blessing for Ted, NH is going to be a nightmare for him and the polls better change down in SC, and at least he has time on his side there. Rubio was the amnesty shill, Cruz freaked out over the gang of eight tards and Trump complained about it constantly. ABR.
