Memphis (West TN) and Nashville (middle TN) are absolutely swarming with moonbats, although Nashville has a few decent suburbs (Brentwood is spectacular). I guess Germantown in Memphis is pretty decent, as well. Knoxville and Chattanooga (eastern TN) have a lot of moonbats because of their UT campuses, but are surprisingly conservative for cities of their size. The rest of TN (Tri-Cities and rural areas especially) is very conservative, to the point that we don’t put up with liberals here.
They’ve heard enough about Jesus in church that they get an idea that people ought to be generous. But they don’t quite see how, except through human socialist schemes.
We need to loosen the stranglehold of Caesar — the small-L libertarians have something, at least, along those lines. Even if it looks like the pot smokers are wanting to lead the parade.
I live in rural West Tennessee. not far from Jackson. Lots of strong conservatives here.
We’re between Knoxville and Crossville. Very conservative and loving it. We were in SoCal for about 10 years, and what a wonderful difference.
