Ted Cruz apologized to Dr. Ben Carson on Tuesday after the Texas senator's campaign was accused of trying to sabotage his opponent's chances in the Iowa caucuses.
Cruz's campaign blasted out a report Monday night that suggested Carson was going home to Florida instead of campaigning after the Iowa caucuses - something Cruz said Tuesday is "fair game" - but admitted that the campaign should have corrected that report when it became clear Carson wasn't dropping out of the race. He was just going home to get "fresh clothes."

My son just marvels over how Carson can always manage to dose off and wake up repeatedly during these debates and still have a semicoherent answer.
Cruz has basically put together what looks like a black-ops team to win the election. If anyone thinks these are the last dirty tricks we will see from the Cruz campaign they are sadly mistaken. It will be interesting to see how many Cruz supporters will continue to overlook and minimize anything that he will do.
Yup. Many here like sleazeballs and go to great lengths to perpetuate sleazeball principles by supporting a sleazeball.
I supported the guy, I sent him money more than once (God help me, he now has my info and won’t let go). Then I started doing my research. I used to say I’d vote for him if he were somehow the nominee but I can’t say that for sure now. I’d probably end up writing someone in.
Apparently ethics and personal integrity don’t matter anymore for some people.
This dirty trick will stick to Cruz like a piece of wet toilet paper from a McDonald’s bathroom!

Not only was it a tweet. It was a ‘big announcement coming tonight from the Carson campaign’ email that went out.
Ted had to have signed off on that. That was high level sleaze.
Did Cruz people force you to advocate WWIII over Estonia?
Dr. Carson is a wonderful man. But he is saying too many crazy foreign policy things.
Except Trump that is .
