She has talent, but she ruins it by trying to be “edgy” and appealing to her base of gay fans.

She dropped a word, and inserted pro PRIDE words as in Gay Pride.
Your parents were right. It is worth noting there can be a big difference between the music and the antics of the “artist”, most of which is more about marketing than anything.
Take a look at any group of people and there will be some whose lives are a total mess. The entertainment industry just uses that to get your attention.
On the other hand, some like Katy Perry or Taylor Swift infuse everything they do with sluttiness and narcissism.
Most people are interested in the music, not the lifestyle. Urban ferals are customers for sluttiness and narcissism, the music is just a soundtrack.
She was born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta in 1986.
What I know is that I really don’t like her style and the fact that people have made her rich, regardless of how overrated she and her act are.

More and more Americans are lying.
That’s not refreshing!
Lady GagMe?
Gaga is actually quite talented. Did you hear her on the Oscars last year? She is Tisch trained.
I thought she was too busy posting post-sex pictures on the internet.
I never watch the Oscars. And don’t really pay attention to the pop diva section of the world. The snippets I hear they all sound basically the same. She probably won’t screw up the anthem, though I also probably won’t pay attention.
The point is she isn’t some Disney child star turned slut. She has a solid musical pedigree.
See posts 65 and 66.
Talent means nothing when you push homo propaganda as she does.
Or the point is in the modern age of pop divas how good you look on a poster is what the record company actually cares about, and they post produce everything to the point where they all sound the same, and yeah maybe some of them have talent but nobody at the record company gives two shakes about that.
I had heard of her but didn’t know anything about her. I had to turn on Letterman to see what she was about.
Came out with some goofy mask and outfit on - she wore the mask for quite awhile.
But in the discussion she seems really smart and polite and professional.
Letterman: So you were here three hours before you were supposed to be - nobody does that.
LadyGaga: Hey - this is the national TV. I wanted to make sure we did the routine a few times on your stage and had it all down.
She talked up her designers and staff when she changed her dancer’s outfits at the last minute before some show. “The dancers - they are as important to the show as I am - and their outfits just didn’t cut it. So I made my designers and workers redo it all in 24 hours. They did a great job! I have all my own designers and tailors - they all work for me. But they could have quit - they didn’t. They’re great.”
I think she said she also has sells her clothes, or plans on doing it.
The whole interview was really a surprise to me because she looks like a cartoon - but really a professional with a big publicity seeking (and getting!) act. I don’t recall if I saw or liked the act.
Make her sing the 4th verse! :)
Oh I wouldn’t defend the contemporary Top 40 aesthetic.
give her credit- she did a great job....
wrong, wrong and wrong...
Did she stick her previous pro-homo twist in there?
