The precedent has already been set.
Can we move on now?

If I'm reading this correctly, the case wasn't dismissed as a statement that the issue is settled. It's because the person initiating the case and the court to which it was presented have no standing.
This has NOTHING to do with answering the question.

Maybe this will be good enough to quiet the Donald on this issue? Doubt it!

The Rubicon has been crossed. The American republic is now in the rearview mirror.

What a relief! I was worried that we would have to repeat the John McCain primaries all over again.

Surprise, surprise. And right in Obama’s backyard. We can’t let the citizenship of a first term Senator, Harvard constitutional lawyer with only a single American parent, a dual citizenship whose records are sealed impact that of another first term Senator, Harvard constitutional lawyer with only a single American parent, a dual citizenship whose records are sealed can we?

It has everything to do with it.
Because as was demonstrated by Obama... NO ONE HAS STANDING to challenge this.
The courts have decided that the issue is up to congress to decide during the process of certifying the electors.

Birther Challenge Against Ted Cruz Dismissed By Illinois Board Of Elections Any place that allowed the kenyan, who later renounced his already questionable "citizenship" to become Indonesian, and who attended college as a "Foreign Student", doesn't have a leg to stand on when it comes to Cruz.

I was under the impression that another candidate would have standing. If one of the other ‘pubs in the race won’t do it, then hillary could do it to gum up the general election.

The abyss just keeps getting bigger and deeper. It is like the rest of our country at the present time. It seems like nobody knows what they are doing today, so they just keep bumbling along in an uneasy, anxious denial of common sense. Bottom line: No bureaucrat has the authority or the gonads to answer this question. There needs to be a candidate in the race to challenge a competitor's qualifications and it has to be done in Federal Court.

First off this is a board of elections, not a federal court. Second, no where in the boards ruling is there any indication that either of the two petitioners lacked standing.

So we now have decided that anyone born anywhere in the world, regardless of loyalty or believe in the Constitution, as long as they have one parent who can claim US citizenship at the time of their birth, meets that eligibility requirement to be president?
What on earth do we think was in the Founders’ minds when they wrote that, if not to make sure the president had no divided loyalties?
Perhaps all the good constitutional conservatives on this site have evolved to the point where they accept that born on the US soil of two non-US parents (Rubio), and born on foreign soil with only one US parent (Cruz), fit the criteria for natural born. I don't think either meets the qualifications — but then I'm old now and not up with the times.

Unfortunately Hillary’s attorney s are a bit tied up right now trying to keep her out of federal prison.
