Trump Says He’ll Probably Sue Over Iowa Results, Accuses Cruz Of “Voter Fraud”

Donald Trump says he will probably sue over the results of the Iowa caucuses, accusing Ted Cruz of committing voter fraud to win.

In an interview on Boston Herald Radio on Wednesday, Trump criticized the Cruz campaign for spreading a CNN report saying Ben Carson would not travel to New Hampshire and South Carolina after the Iowa caucuses, suggesting Carson was getting out of the race. Cruz apologized to Carson on Tuesday for his campaign not sending out updates that Carson was doing laundry and not dropping out

"One of the most disgusting things I've ever seen. They said he was quitting the race and to vote for him," said Trump.

Asked if he would sue, Trump said, "I probably will, what he did is unthinkable. He said the man has left the race and he said it during the caucus. And then when the clarification was put out by Ben Carson saying it's untrue, they got the statement and they didn't put it out."

Someone saw a plausible scenario, ran with it..skewered it..and used it to their advantage.

Was it fraud. I have no idea.

I don’t know the details of how it all went down and what happened after the campaign knew it was false.

Don’t know. I don’t know what he thinks.

He failed to win Iowa, because he failed to secure enough votes to win. It’s as simple as that.

Whatever the other candidates engaged in is on them. If they dishonored themselves, then that’s what they did, but it doesn’t change the fact that Donald didn’t do what it takes to overcome it all, and that’s what you have to do if you want to win so much that you get sick of winning.

You think? I’ll bet you Rubio turns his sights on Teddy.

That is how the GOPe wants it and by God, that is exactly what they’ll get.

Falling for it over and over shouldn’t surprise me, but considering many consider themselves the experts on all this political, I’m stunned.

SNL is going to have a field day with DT this weekend. Example, Ben Carson, my great friend, who exhibits child molester tendencies, was cheated in Iowa by a great conservative who I truly respect, Ted Cruz. Bwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Christ.

Donald will lose if he continues on like this.

You say that like it’s a bad thing. This is who Trump is. He has always been like this and will always be like this. It’s Trump.

Accept him for who he is. Don’t expect him to be someone he is not.

Even if it was outright lying about another candidate (and there's no indication that there was), that's not "fraud" in electoral sense. There were no process violations, no reason to suspect impropriety in vote counting.

All it is is a spoiled child whining because he lost and looking for a scapegoat to cover that fact. Whining about "fraud" just because you lose isn't fighting back, it's just being a poor loser.

Rush is about to cover Rubio’s involvement right now, as well.

I can’t do anything other than accept him for who he is.

Dude does what he does. I don’t think he takes advice from anyone else.

From my perspective, I don’t think he’s advancing his cause at this time.

I was very pleasantly surprised to read and hear what Trump had to say after the caucus vote was tallied. I should have taken the opportunity to praise him then, because he's back to being a jerk today.

This is what I expected out of him when he had to concede defeat ... i.e., to refuse to admit that he lost and blame everyone and everything except himself.

And, of course, his followers will do the same. Trump can't possibly be a loser ... he's a winner!! He doesn't lose ... those bankruptcies were strategic withdrawals!

Yada, yada, yada.

Thanks for proving us right once again.

What I find the most hilarious is Trump claims Cruz had a "Howard Dean" moment.

Wow..... Hows that karma working out Donald?

As is evident by the return of libby lu lu. After that vile screed I’m curious how he/she/it is allowed to carry on.

Can’t image a poster who is FOR any other candidate doing the same and being allowed to continue.

I don’t know that you are correct or incorrect.

If you have someone up there that says so and so is dropping out give us your vote - and he knows it is a lie- that seems to me to be fraud. What happened after Caron’s wife said he wasn’t dropping out at the Precinct? I don’t know

There is room for a fraud claim. I just don’t know if it applies in this case.I am not sure you do either because you weren’t there and don’t know all the details.

It seems to me there is more of a fraud case for Sanders but again...we weren’t there and don’t know all the details.

The question that comes immediately to mind is Why? His money? His mouth? His constant childish badgering of anyone he finds fault with? His hair? His flip-flopping from liberal to conservative at the ripe old age of 60+?

WHY do you want to like this man? The media could only buoy him up for so long. Now the Iowa voters have returned him to reality. He’s a jerk, the one thing Jeb definitely got right.
