I'm not advocating that non-drinkers start drinking, and that present drinkers double it.
I'm just saying that, like so many things, alcohol has both risks and benefits.
One glass of wine won't hurt you or your baby, even early in pregnancy. And if you're a nursing mother, beer is a highly milk-friendly nutrient tonic. Truth.
So, do you want to die of heart disease or be a blubbering idiot because of lack of brain cells. ;-)
I know that there are mild benefits to light alcohol drinking.
