If the roles were reversed, and it was Trump supporters who were telling people that Carson had dropped out, and Trump had gotten ahead by 5000 votes in the end, would you be saying the same thing?
Despite my aggravation at many of the Cruz supporters on this site, and the arguments I’ve had with them, I’m still by and large in support of him. I do not want to believe that he is running an unethical campaign, but what I want and what is truth can be different things.
I dunno. Imma run on a tangent here, mostly because I need to say SOMETHING.
I think that ultimately I’m getting sick of the anger and rancor on FR lately. We all have the same goals, or similar, even if we differ on the best way to achieve them. But this primary season is far worse than the last two that I saw on FR. I type one opinion out and I get vitriol blasted at me at fire hose pressure by people who before recently, I had considered my friends. And worse, I find myself blasting it back. I don’t LIKE myself when I do that.
I should take a break from this whole mess, but political addiction is painful.
Carson’s a weirdo. I didn’t even know he was still in the race.
Once The Don figures out that a lot of the Paul and Santorum people are likely to wind up with Cruz, he’ll sue to force them back into the race.
If you acknowledge that the message was wrong, then you acknowledge that people were misdirected. They go hand in glove.
If I send a false message to a parishioner that a loved one is seriously injured and hospitalized, and they get injured in a car accident rushing to be present, then I should feel sorry, right?
Cruz had the unmitigated gall to finish ahead of Trump. Just who does he think he is?
I think it’s blown way out of proportion. Once again, Trump is succeeding in having everybody talk about him.
It’s obvious he can’t let it go because his ego can’t handle it.
“Is this your first election? “
No, not by a long shot. I was probably voting before you were a glint in your father’s eye!
If Cruz was kick up a storm right now instead of focusing on the next primary, then I’d say he’s a bad candidate and probably deserves to lose.
Sorry, still doesn’t qualify for ‘imploding.’
Another Trump implodes article. LOL!
“I do whine because I want to win, and I’m not happy about not winning, and I am a whiner, and I keep whining and whining until I win.” - D. Trump
Well, I guess he got the first half right.
So both ineligible candidates were in on it!
Yeah he congratulate Ted Monday night and then goes total melt down rant mode today? Pick one. He seems to be all over the place and running on pure emotion. I wouldn’t want a president who behaved this way under stress bouncing from one emotion to another.
When some one loses or suffers a loss how they accept it speaks volumes about them. Do they have to like it? Hell no! Learn from it but don’t be a horses ass. But don’t behave like a little league parent reliving their childhood and going bezerk and showing their ass after their kid’s team loses a game. That being said if it comes down to the Hag and the Don I would vote for the Don with great trepidation and concern.
Okay, but how is it the fault of the Cruz campaign that CNN got it wrong?
I didn't write the article or the headline.
Assuming there is no other information that we’re lacking about CNN being their sole source and sole reason, then they are guilty of bearing false information that affects negatively on a person or event.
The remedy for that is apology PLUS restitution. They have issued an apology. They need to consider restitution.
That would be due from CNN.
No. It would be due from ANYONE causing damage and that includes CNN.
But the damage is delegates awarded and the momentum gained by virtue of the order of finish.
