Thank you for the well written editorial.
I only have two brief comments - not all Republicans are Christian and judge the candidates by how closely they hug their Bible. We’re not electing a Pope.
I don’t think the rift between the two sides here is ever going to go away (which is more than proven by the comments above). I have lost respect for many of the people on the “other side” because of their insulting, nasty comments and outright lies both about the candidate I support (Trump) and anyone who supports him.
Trump would be the best Vice President since Spiro Agnew!

Politics is ugly but, seeing Trump and Cruz fans at each others throats only aids the GOPe and it’s uniparty go along to get along BS.
Go Cruz. Go Trump. I hope these two guys are not blowing smoke up our you no whats.
The November 14 elections and the aftermath was the last straw. Never again.
Just a wild guess, but maybe Americans in decline are beat down by getting hoodwinked decade after decade by pre-paid law clerks turned politicians.
Seems a few are still suffering from battered voter syndrome. These folks get beat up, lied to and robbed yet keep coming back for more.
We need a committed conservative as President.

But sometimes you need to break a few cups, smash a few plates to eventually get
the cupboard in order.
We have two strong contenders out there. I believe one is the best for starting the
process of getting the cupboard in order and the other is the one to followup and do
the fine tuning as we go forward.
In either case we case we should be better off no matter which one wins.

I absolutely agree. He is not my first choice but I'm glad he is in the race.
As you know I’ve stood with Cruz from the get go and plan to do so til there is a winner. I do not want to give thought to another until the Primary has been determined.
To be truthful... The idea of voting another Rhino or with Trumps history would be like asking me to consider worse then when I voted for McCain......and that was beyond sickening when I did so. I seriously can’t think about that now...I don’t want to either. I prefer waiting to see the Primary result.
