"Frankly, I'm prejudiced: I want Trump to win the Republican nomination," Sanders said. "I would love the opportunity to run against him. I think we'd win."

clinton plant..old friends
As McCain learned in 2008,(actually, he had it stuffed down his throat), the day you win the Republican nomination, you go from media darling to media goat. The media have more ammunition from just yesterday alone, to roast Trump on a spit for the rest of the campaign. You better believe they will do it, too.
Bush is a non-factor because Trump took “low energy” Bush out of the top tier. It is premature to say that Bush is dead. SC will give us the answer.
Will Cruz win in NH? Will Cruz place higher than Rubio in NH? What is your prediction?
I'd expect Trump to still win there in NH, since that's more his "home turf." The fight for second place will be a battle.. Rubio seems to have more momentum than Cruz there, so he might have a slight advantage. I don't think Cruz realistically expected to pull out a win in NH, but a good showing will boost his campaign.
Trying the old reverse jinx.
“Rush did that in 2008 and wanted Obama because Rush thought he would be easier to win”
Nope. Rush knew Obama was even worse than Hillary. Operation chaos was exactly that. Did it work? No.
The goal was not really to determine the Democrat nominee, it was to escalate the fighting of the candidates against each other so whichever one got the nod would be weakened when entering the general.
This is the same strategy the left is employing now against our more conservative candidates. They are being unusually nice to Rubio.
2008 we were going to lose even if we put up Jesus Christ himself. We were in a horrible situation. However, in 2016, we are in the top spot to win.....look at the Democrats, they are going so far left that they may fall off the Earth. (LOL).
Never underestimate the power of the GOPe to lose.
You are right though, Hillary is so damaged, a wet paper bag good win against her. Bernie belongs in a mental institution. However, when the inmates are running the asylum, he actually has a slight chance.
He claims he would like to run against Trump. I think he has a much better chance against an establishment guy like Rubio or Bush. Either of them would be a hard pill to swallow for Tea Party conservatives which is a MUST HAVE demographic for the Republican nominee.
Fair point although Trump appears to be very strong in the South
