CNN has accused the campaign of Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz of making false statements about the network's reporting on the campaign of GOP rival Ben Carson. "Senator Cruz's claims about CNN are false," the network said in a statement Wednesday evening. "At no point did the network indicate Dr. Carson would suspend his campaign."
The network's reporting-that Carson would make a trip to Florida before resuming his campaign-came as voters in Iowa were preparing to make the first solid votes of the 2016 campaign. CNN's statement said "Dr. Carson's staff informed CNN that he would return home to take a 'deep breath' before resuming his activities on the trail. That information was reported accurately by CNN across TV and digital."

Where? I don’t see any place in the video where CNN said anything at all about Carson suspending, ending, or quitting his campaign.

Are the Caucus locations behind closed doors with phones banned/jammed? Otherwise the whole story is koo-koo, because the Carson reps would check with their own campaign. Why take the trouble to go to the caucus for your candidate, but not take a small effort to confirm the story.
Has any caucus voter come forward to report changing his vote because of the rumor about Carson, without having checked the story with his own campaign?
And Carson has been hitting Cruz all day; even after the FAKE apology Ted gave.

am glad cause I knew that Ted Cruz was nothing but an act. It made me
sick to see him placating the Iowans by saying that God got him the win. He
is so friggin slimy and by trump hammering this, more and more people are
seeing ted for what he really is.
There is another serious problem with the way Ted Cruz pleads ignorance and misunderstanding. The electronic messaging and the letters/memos claiming Carson was suspending or ending his campaign occurred in massive release something like 32 seconds after the CNN news item was being broadcast. It hardly seems credible to accept the notion these actions were in response to the CNN broadcast versus having been pre-arranged and staged in advance. This reasonable suspicion greatly deepened when it was disclosed this Gabriel character with his alleged CIA dirty tricks background was found to be behind much of this messaging. This Gabriel agent’s connection to George Soros makes this whole affair even more suspicious and perhaps menacing. Regardless of the roles played by the other candidates in this vote fraud affair, the circumstances warrant an investigation, informal or formal, and sanctions against those persons responsible for perpetrating it.

So here’s the facts- the Carson campaign gives cnn his schedule; cnn reports it as breaking news. They’re concerned about it; Cruz, Rubio campaign tweets this breaking news; both campaigns report it to campaign in Iowa; they ask voters the cnn story & tell voters to support their candidate...omg its much ado about nothing!

They are in on it. Rove is attacking Free Republic. He wants to get Yeb or Marco in to do amnesty. Rove knows Free Republic is the grand central station of conservative politics.
