I know there are some of you who are willing to do what it takes to win but you want to make sure you do so with character and integrity. There's a line you don't want to cross. You are fine going up to that line and doing whatever you can that is within bounds but you don't want to cross that line and I am totally with you on that.
I am going to walk you through this faux outrage story regarding Ben Carson and Ted Cruz. I'm going to walk you through a timeline but before I do, I need to make sure you know what life is like at an Iowa Caucus. I'm on Team Cruz. I was one of the precinct captains in one of the larger precincts in Central Iowa...

Nope. that was so long before the vote that nobody remembered it. Trust me it was the theft from Cruz that caused his win. Carson had 10 percent in the polls and was targeted to get 14 points, but 4 points went to Cruz coincidentally giving Cruz the 4 points needed to steal the state. Listen, if Cruz was so great then why did he have to do this dirty business. He couldn’t get more then 4 percent in the state that is supposedly catered to him. He is not as great as many say. For all the work he did, money spent, and groundwork and he only won by 4 points regardless of whether you think he stole or not. Kinda sad really.
Another manufactured crisis. I wonder how many of these will have to be jinned up against Cruz and then disproven before the average person just dismisses them out of hand without bothering to check?

Oh please, how was Cruz supposed to know that he would about face on his entire judicial record and side with Obama on Obamacare. Nobody saw that coming, not even his fellow Supreme Court judges.

Much ado about nothing if you discount the tweets that erroneous say Carson was going to “stop campaigning” and that there was going to be “a big announcement” later in the week. Funny, I don’t remember hearing that on CNN, but they ARE in a Cruz campaign tweet.
I am not a Trump supporter and frankly I really don’t know who I am going to support, but I think the Cruz people are having a difficult time coming to the realization that their guy is just another Washington insider and not the person they thought he was. Same with Rubio.
I was excited when Cruz entered the race and was supportive of his candidacy when he made his announcement at Liberty University. Since then, the more I hear, the more Washington insider I sense. Unreported loans from Goldman-Sachs, mailers that are marginally legal and now this controversy. Seems like he could do well in the other party.
So what are my choices? Rubio? Who regurgitates the same talking points every time he opens his mouth? (Yea, Marco, I know your dad was a bartender) Jeb! (Not another one) The Donald? (buys his politicians in either party) Carson? (great doctor, but too naive) Carly? (let me sleep my way to the top) Christie? (I’ve worked with Federal prosecutors, they are the MOST political) Kasich? (You don’t need to remind me again you helped balance the budget)
While Carson will never gain the nomination, it is disturbing the Cruz organization would disseminate patently false information. And I agree with the good doctor. If Cruz doesn’t address the people in his campaign responsible for this, then it tells us about the character of the candidate himself.

I read the entire article and many of the posts concerning this topic.
I can see how someone on the" Cruz Team" could bend their perception to conclude that the use of the word "unusual" five times really means Carson is dropping out.
Can you understand why those of us in another camp realize that it is just Ted lying again trying to cover his dishonest campaign tactics?

You know all you have in life is integrity and Cruz showed he doesn’t have anyone. It is over but Cruz’s integrity is questioned. He has to live with that but since he doesn’t understand right from wrong, it probably passes by him. He won......and he may never pay for it, but except for his extreme supporters, it is questioned at least a little by others. Well see how it plays out. Once thing for sure, he will need to win more states then Romney did and for the life of me can’t see where that will happen. We probably lose North Carolina again with him. People take being having integrity pretty seriously at least the “good values and morals” Americans.
