I am sure there is a “ton of stuff” on Trump out there. It is because he is a private citizen, and has lived as such his whole life. He is not a person who has been attached to politics for decades and lives to make sure no bad stuff gets out. Even Carson has had some weird stuff come out - and probably more being held in reserve.
I remember when Pat Buchanan was running for president way back, a reporter on a radio talk show said that he really liked Pat, "but we are going to have to take him down."
