It will be the Christians and Jews first and from my experience there are a few of FR who will help.

Thanks for the post.
In a search this was mentioned.
Participants in those critical decisions, Janis found, had failed to consider the full range of alternatives or consult experts who could offer different perspectives. They rejected outside information and opinion unless it supported their preferred policy. And the harsher the preferred policy — the more likely it was to involve moral dilemma — the more zealously members clung to their consensus: “Each member is likely to become more dependent than ever on the in-group for maintaining his self-image as a decent human being and will therefore be more strongly motivated to maintain group unity.”
See this more often now days.
Thanks again.

Irving Janis was a Psych professor at Yale. He researched groupthink and developed eight groupthink behaviors. They describe why groups make bad descisions - however the left figured out how to use them as a weapon...
Fabulous! How close are these to Saul "Lucifer lover" Alinsky's rules for radicals?

So Cognitive Dissonance also plays a significant factor?

right-wing militants who, since 2002, have killed more people in the United States than jihadis have. In that time, according to New America, a Washington think tank, Islamists launched nine attacks that murdered 45, while the right-wing extremists struck 18 times, leaving 48 dead. Sources, please.
Besides the author's fevered, wishful imagination.

If this was true, this guy wouldn't be breathing right now. Newsweak is doing what it does best, helping to destroy our country.
When I was in college in the mid-sixties, Newsweak was, even then, viewed as a less than trustworthy source for information to use in creating term papers.

right-wing extremists struck 18 times, leaving 48 dead Looking at what "New America", no doubt a Communist Left-Wing Extremist organization, has credited as right-wing extremists, I'm surprised the numbers aren't even higher.
Many were troubled people who may have at some point in time of their life claimed to be this or that, but in reality were nothing more than loners who had mental issues.
Also why no investigation into left-wing extremist killings?
All in all a dishonest piece with questionable, at best, facts to support an obviously pre-concieved conclusion.

while the right-wing extremists struck 18 times, leaving 48 dead. Which attacks are these? I bet if we look at these specific cases, they will turn out to be left wing kooks. Most of the time they are.

Exactly...and no one will call him on it. He gets a pass because he goes along with the Zeitgeist. He does not even post an email address for anyone to respond.

I took a quick peek. They are equating Neo-Nazis and Racists as "Right-Wing."
Someone needs to point out to them that the Nazis were left wing as in "NAtional SoZIalists.
They also count that nutball "Dylan Roof" as "right wing".
They aren't trying to be honest, they are trying to advance a narrative.
I didn't go through their whole list, but I see some robberies and assaults that they label as "right wing."
They don't go into "left wing" racial assaults by left wing racists. I dare say they would find more than they wanted to count.

I guess they are right in that I probably am a danger to these loons.

They and untold thousands like them are the extremists who hide among us, the right-wing militants who, since 2002, have killed more people in the United States than jihadis have.Nice try pinko. Your imitation of Goebbels isn't working.

I doubt it will be a holocaust. They are quite well armed and understand valid reasons for defense, and if they are ever told to turn them in, that is when the fighting begins.

What was in mind is the posting here on FR.
Seems I have Cognitive Dissonance in seeing some posts lately. Not sure if the posters have any psychological conflict between their beliefs and what is being posted.
It probably would have been better to post that on another thread. Do not wish to hi-jack this one.
Thanks for your posts........a break and diversion from the storm. LOL! Take care.........pilgrim
