The fury of Ben Carson (campaign vows to make Cruz pay)
Politico ^

The candidate and his flailing campaign look consumed with one thing: Making Ted Cruz pay for 'dirty tricks' in Iowa.

Five days from the New Hampshire primary, Ben Carson has yet to set foot in this state since his fourth-place finish in Iowa. His detour to Florida for a fresh set of clothes has become a running joke online. The candidate is, by all indications, consumed by what he calls the "dirty tricks" of Ted Cruz’s campaign.

"Dr. Carson feels absolutely robbed, violated," said Armstrong Williams, a Carson confidant, in a phone interview. "He realizes, the Democrats are not his enemies trying to malign him. It's people who smile in his face, shake his hand, go out to dinner with him - and yet, they’re trying to destroy him behind his back."

Carson is still polling around 10% in South Carolina. He could play spoiler to Cruz if he drops out and endorses Trump or Rubio. He has a lot of core supporters. My guess is he would endorse Rubio and try to take out Trump and Cruz at the same time in South Carolina. He has no love for either.

Just when the primary is totally FUBAR, Carson might make it MEGA-FUBAR.

It’s good we found out Ben was psycho now rather than later.

Carson has a legacy to think about, his books, his movie, his surgeries and his poll numbers. He wanted to have that vote total to be as high as possible to give credence that many of his ideas were good in the political world.

Carson would be wise to support Cruz. Cruz is a fighter that WINS. Trump is a whining twitter addict.

Not surprising. Seventh Day Adventists are second only to Scientologists when it comes to seeking retribution.

Anyone here honestly think even one vote changed because of the tweet?

Carson and Trump are playing sore loserman.

How Trump lost any votes because of this “dirty trick” requires a huge leap in logic.

The Cruz campaign merely noted a hot news item on CNN. You would think Carson would be pissed at CNN, however the CNN story was apparently accurate as was the tweet from the Cruz Campaign.

Trump and Carson and all their sycophants are grasping at straws. And Sarah Palin has truly truly jumped the shark.

If you are right, I hope he does drop out and do it soon. And you think Ben would endorse Marco the hispanic liar? Gross (the endorsement, not you) and I really wish he’d just let Iowa go because all he’s doing now is playing into the hands of the GOPe and the MSM.

that would mean swallowing his pride and considering the flap between the two of them, that is most unlikely.

So what will it be, Ben?

BNM (Black Neurosurgeons Matter), or

BCM (Black Candidates Matter) ?

Stop pushing that it was “a tweet”. It was voice mails and emails to at least 1,500 precinct captains telling them Carson was out, get the votes.

Cruz would not have won without this. Not just the votes he stole from Carson but the last minute chaos with his people being the apparent heir.

It was despicable.

'Twasn't the Tweet.

It was the Cruz supporters among Caucus goers, trying to persuade other Iowa Caucus-ers...

Question is, if cell phones or iPhones or anything were allowed in the Caucuses, for Cruz election team insiders to send messages to caucus goers, and not necessarily just the Tweet.

If he endorses Rubio prior to the convention he will lose his anti establishment credibility.

Rubio’s enter claim to being non GOPe is that he didn’t attend their Washington dinner parties. Of course, that generally requires one to be IN Washington, so I will let you draw your own conclusions.

Did anyone change their vote based on the CNN story?

I think he would support Trump. He is too smart to go for Rubio who represents the Rstablishment which he hates. It is why he ran in the first place.

Gee Ben, maybe you shouldn’t have left the campaign on the eve of the vote... And even worse have your people report that to CNN and others... Perhaps just maybe you should go look into the mirror as to the cause of all this...

The only person that benefits from your tantrum is the guy who compared you to a child molester and called you a fake Christian...

Brilliant.

Which comes first Ben, your pride or your country?
